Ordered north bowl acai bowl today it tasted worse. The lady who is working filled my acai bowl with 3/4th granola and 1/4th acai absolutely worse. Never going to this place again.

8-10 girls were behind the counter and not one of them filled out my mobile order that I set in 15 minutes in advance. As a young girl myself I 100% understand the socialization that comes with working with girls my age but the fact that not one of them had found my order after I just got dental surgery drove me insane.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt this was necessary. I stopped by Playa Bowls recently and was really disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the place. I saw a baby roach crawling near the counter area, and there were ants around the prep space, which made me super uncomfortable. For a place that serves fresh fruit and health-based foods, I expected way better hygiene. The floor looked dirty, blenders looked stained, the trash was overflowing, and it didn’t seem like the employees were too concerned about maintaining a clean space or were maybe too busy to do so (overworked). I couldn’t even enjoy my bowl knowing what I just saw. Definitely won’t be returning. Health department might want to take a look at this location.

Walking into PB is always a breath of fresh tropical air! The atmosphere is always inviting and staff has not failed me yet. The choices are always plentiful and my Electric Mermaid reigns supreme.
