Have been going to Clemente for years but the prices have gotten outrageous and the sandwiches less filled. That isn't even main issue. Today I was charged $19.50 for a chicken cutlets sandwich which was incorrect. The board states $16 and when brought to the owners attention instead of fixing the mistake argued multiple times it's correct which it is not. Gave up trying to argue paid. My $42 bill for 2 sandwiches and 1 chip and will not be returning. Bad business when it literally says on the board the price and you argue for $3.50 which cost way more losing a customer of 5 plus years. Incorrectly charging $20 for a chicken cutlets sandwich is insane. But that's the choice you made. One star won't be returning plenty of other Italian delis to go to.

Best local Italian sandwich joint, by far. 5 star food. Unfortunately, they have shady business practices in the form of pricing inconstancies and gouging. Now a simple grilled chicken hero with a couple basic toppings is $17+. but depending on who makes it behind the counter, it can vary by over $2. Always double check you pricing before you head to the register.
