I absolutely love this restaurant. We came to visit my Aunt and Uncle and they took my mom and I here. They are regular visitors here, I am guessing. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was so personable and they really make you feel at home. The bread is fresh made and was so light. It melted in your mouth. They had mussels as an appetizer. I don't care for them. I have not had a salad like they serve here. It was very good and looked appetizing. The taste of the salad dressing and salad made my taste buds pop. My mom had the veal marmalade. My aunt had the osso bucco. My uncle had the swordfish with risotto and a side of spinach, which shared with him. I had the lasagna and it was to die for!! The food was amazing and well worth the wait to have it. I had the best meal I have had in a long time. This, to me, was the best and trueest Italian restaurant I have ever been to. If I could give you infinity amount of stars🌟 you would have them in my book. Thank you so very much for an amazing meal and time to spend with my aunt and uncle, who I have not seen in 20+ years. We arrived on a Sunday at 3:00pm. We had no issues parking in their lot and there were plenty of tables available. We called ahead, but we did not need a reservation. The food was very good, fresh & tasty! The service was awesome.

We celebrated a friends birthday and in the past my husbands birthday. We have also dined there a few times. The food is very good, the staff is attentive and they have an extensive menu plus the daily specials! This is a BYOB restaurant and reservations are required. The parking lot is quite small but park across the street at night. This restaurant will be part of your repertoire once you try it.

The first time we went, it was Friday night and the place was packed although we tried hard to park the car in the parking lot. We were told the waiting time would be 45 minutes, so we just left and came home. The second time was Tuesday night and the place was half empty. No waiting time. The service was ok and the food was ok. Not impressive.
Nice people.Great food and service. Parking a little tough, but don't let that stop you. Enjoy.

We had 40 people last evening for a magnificent rehearsal party for our son’s wedding. The guys and their staff are most welcoming and accommodating. The food was over the top delish. The cuisine is truly authentic and the options are many. Don’t leave north Jersey without a meal from Gemelli’s! BYOB
