This is our fourth visit to I Gemelli. We had not been here for about a year because our last two meals were only OK. This is a BYOB so bring a bottle. What a difference a year makes. The food was excellent. We ordered the Portabello alla Griglia - a portabello mushroom served over thinly sliced potatoes. I had the Pollo Saporito - sauteed pieces of chicken on the bone in a white wine sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and capers. The pignoli nuts added a lot of flavor to the dish. Service was wonderful too. The waiter took the time to explain the specials and answered all of our questions. We will be returning.

This place was packed on a Friday night, which gives the implication that it may be good. This is not the case. The food was bland, lasagna was overdone (soggy noodles/ blob of cheese (that didnt taste like good quality mozzarella) and tons of sauce. The fried mozzarella sticks were awful. Whoever is purchasing ingredients needs to invest in better quality. Its clear that the kitchen is totally fine charging folks $20-30 for a pasta dish that you can get better at a pizza place. The apps were ok, not great. Calamari was chewy. The only saving grace was the staff which was friendly and accommodating, but seriously, do something about the kitchen!

Pulled into the lot but decided to read the negative reviews before entering. I felt that there were too many similar negatives and some really bad experiences to take a chance.
Owners should take note. It cost them a customer tonight.
I'm a regular for many years, as well as many friends..For a great meal with your spouse , or a night out with boys.

Great Italian restaurant. Byob. Great food and pleasant staff. Luigi and Saverio and his brother and Edwino are truly a good group that makes eating pleasurable. Mention that you want to see Rick's picture and you might just get a little discount or an espresso.
I took a trip back to my grandma Colucio’s diner table tonight! ( my sweet little grandma from Italy). I had a meal that she would have been proud of! We start off with HOT Italian bread that had a perfect crust. We had some wonderful appetizers. The calamari was light and perfectly done and the fried zucchini flowers were delicious. My veal parmigiana was done perfectly and very tender. The side of spaghetti had a good red sauce. The ravioli is a big hit. Everyone in our party loved their meal. But save room… the deserts are big and delicious!!! Service was top notch and the owner was very attentive and friendly! My best advice is to get to this hidden gem and enjoy your way through the menu!!! NOTHING is bad! ( no i mean it Go now!)
