Main Event Mauzone

Alan Shulman catered my daughter’s wedding this past week. Everything was spectacular. The food the service was excellent. They catered my wedding years before. They didn’t lose there touch. Thanks for making our simcha so special

Do NOT book these people for your event. We had event scheduled with them for months. One week before, they got a better catering opportunity elsewhere and they summarily cancelled. Unreliable. Unrepentant. Lack integrity. Do not honor their commitments. Go elsewhere with your business. Do not support them; you'll be left at your event with no food. They obviously are looking only for the almighty dollar.

The food is good but beware! As other reviewers have noted, their lack of professionalism is outrageous. We were even charged by our venue because they poured grease on the grounds (photos provided by venue) and left furniture out in the rain. On top of that, their mashgiach hit on guests and chatted up our 16-year old daughter; they were rude to our liquor vendor; and the owner refused to take responsibility for anything despite charging astronomical prices and making way too much food. Very stressful experience. But the hardest thing is the poor impression they create about orthodox Jews- a real shande. They have been banned from the venue.

Main Event did an amazing job for our wedding! They were so helpful throughout the pandemic from rescheduling to menu and staff changes. People raved about the food and we could not have been happier with the special way they served our non-plated dessert selection! They were a pleasure to work with through this whole process!

They are a full service caterer who exceeds every expectation. They catered my husband's 75th birthday. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the entire process was a joy. Highly recommend and will use them again for many occasions.
By the way, it is 2 weeks since that happy occasion and our guests haven't stopped raving. They did this in our home and our living area and terraces were magically transformed by Main Event - just gorgeous. And the food and service - unbelievable!

We booked Main Event Mauzone before the pandemic for our wedding. My husband and I don’t keep kosher, but we have many friends and family members who do, so we knew glatt kosher catering would be important to have. Other kosher caterers would not do our date because it was during Omer, but Main Event would. When the new management took over, I admit I was nervous about whether we would get the same experience as past satisfied clients. Now that our wedding has come and gone, I can say with confidence we made the right choice! We worked with Matt and Hallie who were friendly, professional, and helped our whole day run smoothly. They were able to improvise – our event had many more vegetarians than they expected, so their staff ran to the grocery store mid-dinner and got more ingredients. Our guests all told us how great the food was. The late night dessert station took a while longer than expected, but once they set it up, it was an especially big hit. A lot of people didn't know the desserts were pareve until we told them. The chefs even made macarons in our wedding colors without me asking! They packed up a ton of food for us and our parents to take home after. We would definitely recommend Main Event Mauzone for any event.

Eddie and his team were great; he was attentive to our needs, no matter how particular, and ran the wedding like clockwork. Eddie made himself available to speak with my husband and I numerous times before our wedding to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and that everything would be perfect. Great person and very easy to deal with too! We would wholeheartedly recommend him and his team for any simcha. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how incredible the food was. Thanks again for everything!!

Main Event-Mauzone ...You guys did a fabulous job for my daughters wedding 9-15-19 at the Art Factory, Paterson NJ.The food & service was all First Class and knowing the event space really made a difference. From the sushi station being by far the best sushi from any wedding we ever attended, the entire cocktail hour, reception and the of course the desserts ... guests would come up to me and say ... It’s taken me a couple of months to “come down” from this dream wedding. Working with Davi and her team was fabulous from beginning to end! They were 100% with us every step of the way- there to meet us with every question, every concern, every answer in a most timely and professional manner. We just used Main Event Mauzone for our wedding. We were mostly happy but were disappointed with various things and have realized we would not use this caterer again for another simcha:-Staff was pushy and rude, unprepared for the event and all seemed new and inexperienced. They fought with and were disrespectful to our other vendors. One staff member at the end of the night even tried to pick up a friend of ours.-Food was good only if you stick with dishes they know and do regularly. (Vegetarian food was very disappointing)- NO leftovers for bride and groom although specifically requested.

We used ME/Mz for our dairy/vegetarian wedding recently. Eddie and his team were great; he was attentive to our needs, no matter how particular, and ran the wedding like clockwork. The dairy/veggie food was excellent, not easy to pull off in a meat-centered industry. And the price was very competitive. We would wholeheartedly recommend him and his team for any simcha. I do see another user's less enthusiastic review here below, which surprised me, but I guess everyone's experience and viewpoint differs...we were very satisfied. Thanks!

Amazing caterers! Great people work at main event mauzone, and it's been great doing business with them. I recommend to all! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would rate 100 stars if there were an option for that.
