i ordered there every weekend but now im ordering on uber because the lady at the counter she doesn’t speak english at all she doesn’t understand anything and a u can see like not body call in they prefer order over the platforms the food is really good thanks and taka care of tha lady you lossing customers

Ordered the 1/2 combo, chicken, beef ribs, with rice and French fries today, as I usually do, and the beef ribs were NOT edible . I bit into it and immediately realized the taste was nasty, which made the French fries taste nasty!!!
After speaking to a trusted source, I learned this is not the first time this has happened. The first time I ate here, it was great, but every visit since, it has been worse and WORSE in quality and taste.
And today, I officially decided I will NOT return. AND YOU SHOULDN’T EITHER.

I’ve been coming to Elmora BBQ 2 for a while now, and the food has always been solid. The chicken and ribs are always fresh and the portions are good. Staff is friendly and the place is clean every time I stop by. Not sure what’s going on with some of these reviews lately, but my experience has consistently been good. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I was walking out of the store next door when I saw baby mice running straight into this BBQ spot, like it was their home base. Then when I walked by the entrance, there were even more of them inside, just roaming around like customers don’t even matter. If the mice are bold enough to be out in the open and crossing over from other stores, just imagine how bad it must be inside where customers can’t see. It was honestly one of the nastiest things I’ve ever witnessed, and it completely turned my stomach. I wouldn’t step foot in there for anything.

First time having ordered there and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional taste and good size meal portions. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
I’ve ordered here before and always got two full trays of food. This time I used their “buy one get one free” deal, and it’s a total scam. They basically took one tray, split it up, and put a sliver of chicken into each container — nowhere near what’s shown in the pictures or what I received in the past. One container literally had just a tiny piece of chicken.
When I called to ask about it, they said there was nothing they could do and basically shrugged it off. Complete false advertising and awful customer service. A better option would be going to Family BBQ — they have better food, better portions, and it’s actually seasoned.

This place used to be exceptional when it was Backyard BBQ. The bbq chicken is good, however they ruined my last order of pork ribs… they looked like they were cooking for 3 days… order the chicken, but don’t trust the ribs anymore

First time ordering, they forgot my chicken. I ordered Mozzarella sticks and French fries but since not being vented they were saugie. The rice is bland and not good. Salad was ok at best just had a lemon squeezed on it.

Thought I was ordering from Backyard BBQ, not until I got there did I find out NEW management. Prices had increased but I didn't mind until I got home the food was bland, no seasoning or very little. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I passed PAULIE on PLAINFIELD Ave, because Backyard BBQ was cheaper and very tasty, I loved the veggies but these tonight taste like they were steamed with no seasoning. No Spanish seasoning at all You need to get another cook if you want to stay in business.
