Really love their seafood menu!! Me and my dad went to go try their Shrimp Jumbo with head and Salmon and it was really great. Definitely worth going back.

New management update: I ordered a whole bbq chicken with rice and fries. The rice was very salty and fries were soggy. Chicken tasted good!
I ordered take out a few weeks ago. The food seemed like it was already prepared and sitting in a warmer because the fries were not fresh

Order beef ribs and pork ribs. The beef was burnt and tough to chew with no flavor. The pork was tough. I called to complain and service person did not offer a refund only something else. Poor customer service. I would not go back to this establishment every again and that is what I said to the rep on the phone. The real rating is zero. Don't waste your money by patronizing this establishment. Even the side were terrible i.e. rice, fries, and salad. How could you get those wrong.

The garlic shrimp appetizer is a miss, the shrimp are tiny, cooked hard and very distasteful, and they have the nerve to charge 15 dollars for it. I wish I could post a picture of what it looks like . Please stay away from this if you decide to eat here.

I had the opportunity to eat at the Backyard BBQ on two occasions while working in the South Plainfield school District. The main person at the register was very nice and attentive. Held a great conversation. More importantly, the food was great the first time. So much so, that I had to go a second time. And the second time did not disappoint. Whenever I’m in the area again, I will be eating lunch and potentially dinner at this restaurant.
