They're always low on stuff and they don't tell you until they start making your bowl and then you have no choice but to buy it. I hate that.

Vegetarian options: They have sofrito. Idk what it is exactly but they say it's vegetarian substitute.

I got a chicken burrito bowl and there were bones in it! I contacted Chipotle and they wanted to make it up by giving me 200 reward points..Ridiculous!

The absolute worst chipotle location I’ve ever been to. This has happened at least three times at this point, and they either undercut the rice, give a way too small of a portion or just completely mess up the ingredients with the order itself. I have not had one good experience at this location. The people who worked there very unprofessional in general and it’s unbelievable that the franchisee has not been held accountable.

The store Manager and their staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They seem to think because no one will call them out for their rude behavior. Jeffrey the store manager seemingly be bothered to speak to my son whom he had hired about three weeks ago with no training schedule given. When he called back and finally got a hold of the manager they stated he was rude for simply asking when he could get a hire date to be able to start working. They then hung up on him. Jeffrey and Daniel are two very immature Adults who could have handled the situation better.

I had a disappointing experience at this South Plainfield Chipotle location. The female employee who served me had a condescending attitude that made the whole interaction uncomfortable. On top of that, the portion sizes were ridiculously small—everything you see on social media about Chipotle skimping on servings is absolutely true here. It felt like they were rationing every single ingredient. For the price you pay, it’s frustrating to leave feeling like you didn’t get your money’s worth. Definitely not the standard I’ve come to expect from Chipotle.

There is a total lack of management oversight here because of the physical condition of the restaurant and its dirty conditions. I have been going to this location since it opened and it has been a gradual decline especially in the last 18 months.

The serving is not good they are giving less quantity and food is not cooked properly. It’s 7 pm only and they said veggies are completed. Today I have visited again the staff is rude literally I had to ask him to put minimum quantity

Every time I go to this location I regret it. A lot of bad attitudes in there , specifically the females. I got a steak bowl, the girl had an attitude giving me steak and barely gave me any. It was also the chewiest steak I ever had it was mostly gristle I had to spit out. I also asked for both guac and sour cream on the side , I got home and saw I wasn’t given sour cream. Management clearly does not care about training, employees and bettering the service because I see a ton of bad reviews

Typically, I don't write negative reviews, but I've encountered this issue multiple times, and I'm sure other customers have as well. The store is managed by young college students who often lack all the necessary ingredients, frequently stating they are out of stock. Their service is inconsistent—sometimes adding too much of an ingredient, other times too little. Additionally, the chips are often not fresh. I believe having a dedicated store manager, rather than a group of undergraduates, would definitely improve service overall.

Oh my goodness! I have never left a review but I felt compelled to. Worst chipotle I’ve ever had! 😭😂 uncooked rice and the sofritas and pico are SO SALTY!

The last few times I went I left without food. Both times I wanted brisket and they didn't have any. Also one of the visists they had no cheese or guac. Very disappointed!
