Not sure whether the manager has a common sense. Store had a miscommunication and somebody picked up our food. The manager told us that somebody picked up the food and he is not making the order again. Dont order online. If somebody picks up your order, they will tell you good luck!

Corporate needs to come down and personally check this place out. It’s disgraceful. I just picked up my lunch and the burrito was so small I thought it was a mistake. It literally fit in the palm of my hand. I had to check and see if they gave me a kids menu item. Then the burrito bowl was ice cold and looked like half it was missing. Do yourself a favor… take the extra step and go to the one on George Street in New Brunswick. They are amazing and exactly what you would expect to get when spend $22.87 for two items. Never again will step foot in this place.

Worst chipotle I ever been to, super slow, was waiting on steak and they said five minutes, it was going on 15 while my bowl was waiting there with everything else getting cold, I just left and rather would drive to Edison

Cold, sloppy, and thrown together like they didn’t care at all. Ingredients were uneven, and the bowl looked (and tasted) like an afterthought. Definitely not worth the price—won’t be coming back. Went to this location few times and walked out cause they were like we don’t have rice, we don’t have chicken so what is a customer suppose to add in their bowl when the base & protein is not even there to be serviced. This location needs to be closed down. Or under new management. It was not worth 29$ for 2 of these.

The food quality is fine. The biggest problem with this location is the employees. Every time I come here and there’s a line forming, there’s a very slow response from the employees. There’s always a crowd of them hanging around the cashier just chit chatting and disregarding waiting customers. I get it, working a food service job is not easy or fun but it takes too long trying to get my order.

Cold food. Scheduled pick for 1:10. Picked-up at 1:10. Food was ready so that was nice. But it was cold. Legit cold. I think I’m done with chipotle after this. I used to love the place but it is harder and harder to get a decent meal here anymore.

Horrible service. The cashier was fine but there was seemingly a new guy assembling the food. He was obviously not very used to everything yet, which is fine, but his trainer wasn't patient at all, whether to his coworker or to the customers. He was incredibly unwelcoming and condescending to people like me who don't frequent Chipotle. Management needs to figure out this staff problem, because it seems like I'm not the only one with this issue.

Never realized chipotle workers don’t wear name tags so I can’t say who, but drive the extra 10/15 minutes to another chipotle it’ll definitely be worth ur time and money!! Ordered double chicken for my bowl, but they were the two smallest scoops ever you could still see the rice. Whenever I get double chicken, which is every time, it’s always loaded with chicken, so I asked politely if she could add a little bit more, and she wanted to charge me for triple chicken. I wasn’t asking for a whole scoop so I wasn’t about to pay for triple chicken, I just wanted the amount of chicken I was paying for. Half of it was burnt or fat anyways that I couldn’t even chew or ruined the taste of the food it was so burnt. The workers just seem to be miserable and even asking for a fork because there were no more seemed like a problem. Just save ur sanity and go to a different chipotle that will give you what you pay for, and more edible food because the food isn’t even cheap.

I ordered for pick up at 11:30 today, fully aware I would be 5-10 min early but perfectly happy to wait quietly because this way I know my meal was just put together. Sure enough I get there at 11:21. I’m waiting quietly until I notice my name on one of the meals already prepared. I politely say “hey I know I’m a little early but I see my name in that meal.” Oh man, if looks could kill - the look I got from the kid making the meals was pure murder. He says to me “what time did you order for?” To which I again politely say that I know I’m a little early. He carries on doing other things for 2-3 more minutes while my food and about a dozen other people’s food sit getting cold, before finally bagging my stuff and handing it to me. Sooo, if I’d have ordered for 12pm instead of 11:30, would you *still* have made it at 11:20? And what’d ya know - cold.

Oh, and there was a giant ball of black hair on the floor next to the trash by the register.

I’d think with as many horrible reviews this store has that it would try to improve. But I’ll probably go back so joke’s on me.

The service in South Plainfield is poor. They have no green sauce, no cilantro, no limes, no lemons...no sauces at all.
Mexican food with no sauces. Get it together folks.

I like chipotle. I go often to various locations. Unfortunately, this one in particular is closest to my home and is by far the worst one in the area. I sometimes drive an extra 15 mins to go to a different location.

Once again, I order food, and against my better judgement I dodnt check the bag. I get home because I was in a rush. Open up the bag and no sour cream, no chimichuri sauce. Chips are stale, no options for onions and peppers (cause the guy who cooks it isnt there), rice is stale, service is slow, none of the refresher drinks are available, some of the sodas dont have syrup, and service workers seem annoyed to be there. Ive been in the food industry before, I understand having bad days but this is always consistent. No one is rude, but rather they all seem frustrated working there. It's seems like this location has a bad manager or owner. Idk, its always a poor experience.

Never going to this location again...

have been visiting this location for the past few months, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing. The service has declined, and the portions have noticeably reduced — often only half a scoop of ingredients is given. Even when I politely mention it, the staff does not seem responsive. This will likely be my last visit to this location, as I no longer feel the value or service meets expectations.
