This was my first time going to El Toro and The only thing I can say is the Server's were really nice but the food was pretty bland..I had the chicken chimichanga and the presentation was nothing fabulous and the shredded chicken was a lil dry no special seasoning or spices to mention..I also ordered Shrimp fajitas to-go and the onions and peppers were waay overcooked along with the shrimp! I forgot to take a snap of that dish but all and all I did not enjoy my visit to El Toro and I will not be going again

I GENUINELY don't understand the hate for this place! A friend and I went yday and the vibes were immaculate, the food was super fresh and soo good. We def recommend the cocktails AND the mocktails there. Food wise, def try the birria if u like it, get the chicken and shrimp tacos and the pineapple habanero wings as well. I wasn't drinking yday and the bartender/waitress was such a queen and said "I gotchu" and gave me quite literally the best mocktail I've had so far. I think this place is going to be my next hangout spot for a while.

Their tequila-based drinks, chips and salsa (not free), chicken tinga tacos, and chimichangas are really good. The red salsa that came with the chips (homemade) was very unique and tasty.

The food was pretty good, we ordered chicken Taco's with fresh Avocado ? very tasty! The atmosphere was pretty lit that night. It was a Saturday night. Pretty good spot though. Music was a little loud, but other than that. Chill spot.

Great place for an after work drink or date night. Drinks are nice and food is filling. Love the atmosphere and service was spot on.

We were originally supposed to go to the branch of this Restaurant in Kendall Park, but found out that it had permanently shut down. So, we planned to come to this one, since they are both almost equidistant to our home. On arrival, we were extremely surprised to find it empty on a Sunday evening, --- except for three other occupied tables. We blamed the soggy and rainy weather for this, and proceeded to choose our own table. There are no more paper menus post-COVID, so had to order from the scans. This is not our preferred method, because we do not get to compare items while endlessly scrolling, but, Oh Well…! Our order between the four of us consisted of the Traditional Guacamole to start out, and two Chimichangas – one with Carne Asada and the other with Mixed Veggies, one Cajun Shrimp Wrap and one Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos. We topped all that with a pitcher of Sangria and ended the meal Churros con Chocolate. Every item was delicious. Service from Anthony was attentive, polite and friendly. Even though the music was a little too loud, we would like to return, since it is not a bad place to hang out casually with friends. Plus, there is lots of really great Artwork on almost every wall to admire.

Great atmosphere and great music, even tho the place was empty at 10:45 pm on a Thursday. We stayed at the holidayinn which is attached to the restaurant. I am a truck driver from California and travel the country my truck was getting repaired so i had to stay the night in the area. I got lucky finding this place that was still open .The food is great even tho the kitchen was almost closed they made sure our food was made right and tasted excellent. The chimichurri steak was delicious and the Toro margarita was also excellent. I definitely recommend !

The owner of V.o.S. in Linden posted about this restaurant having plenty of vegan options on the menu. Showed up, directed to sit at any empty booth (2 were available on a Saturday night while they were hosting a comedy show) and the server was over pretty quickly to take our drink order. She came back often throughout the night to check on us and was super attentive. The vegan empanadas, vegan impossible grounds crunch wrap & vegan bbq chicken ranch quesadilla were all amazing and would definitely order again though we want to try their other vegan options. Bartender and manager were all super friendly. Huge parking lot as well; not a single bad thing to say and will definitely be back.

So nice to see so many vegan options. I went with the vegan chicken tacos. Toasting the flour tortillas was a nice touch. I thought they were really tasty and the margaritas were good too!

This is not like the other El Toro Loco restaurants. I understand that we are in still a pandemic, but not to have physical menus is very unprofessional in my opinion and is irritating to the patrons to try to compare on a smart phone. There were only 4 diners in the restaurant, and one server/busier/manager doing all those duties. Very unprofessional and the booth was huge with the bench a little less than an arms length from the table, making it a challenge to dine in a normal manner.

I am not sure why this place has bad reviews. Is it a small and loud place YES but not a bad place if you just want to hang with your friends. I went on a Friday eve this place was some what busy. Our server Danny was nice and very quick. We had loaded vegan nachos it was missing the kick but enjoyable, veggie bowl which was full of flavor, and the winner was the buffalo cauliflower quesadilla (if they just make it bit less sour) this would be out of this world. I would defiantly go back here and see if they keep up the good work.

They do have vegan options!!When we walked in they told us to seat ourselves anywhere- very casual and wasn’t busy. Interior was alright, honestly not my favorite vibesDrinks were big and strong- definitely would return just to drink!! We tried the vegan nachos and vegan portobello spinach quesadillas. Nachos were pretty good. The flavors were all there and the cheese was tasty. The only part about it i was concerned with is its authenticity and freshness. I love nachos with fresh cheese, pico, veggies… this one didn’t feel that fresh which was disappointing. The quesadillas did not taste Mexican at all- honestly tasted like an Italian Stromboli (they used mozzarella) which was interesting. It was necessarily bad but i wanted Mexican food, not Italian!Overall our experience was good but probably wouldn’t return unless they ensured a homemade pico! Definitely would come back for strong and tasty drinks!!

Horrible service. No host to seat us and very inattentive and unprofessional staff. The food tasted spoiled. We will not be back after this bad experience.

The food was out in seven minutes of us ordering I think it was frozen and reheated. quesadilla was soggy and flavorless. The rice was stale and hard.
