I always order my cakes from LaBon! I have even bought cakes just to have for dessert. The cakes are always fresh and delicious! I have ordered several hamburger cakes for my grandkids with squeals of delight! I don't live in the area of any of the LaBon locations, but I always come back to the So. Plainfield or Somerset locations to get my cakes!

This was the first time buying a cake from here so I was worried. But honestly it was sooooo delicious and everyone absolutely loved it!!!! Hands down will definitely order from here again and I totally recommend this place.

Supposedly the donuts come fresh everyday, ( i don’t believe it) i came here at 11am on a monday. i ordered a bread and butter and after i payed the cashier proceeds to tell me they have no butter. (not the cashiers fault) but how does the bakery not have butter at 11 am on a monday???? Terrible preparation and this donut is stale and cold. Great service though but the desserts in there are overpriced

I give 5 stars for the food because having had it before it is always great. But I didn't even get to have any this time at 4:50pm on Sunday. The associate firstly didn't greet me or my son when we walked in. We stood there for a long while and no one assisted us. We waited patiently as we did not want to be rude and interrupt them but they didn't say a word didn't even look at us. My son and I calmly left the store and they didn't say a word. This is the bakery I come to by choice and to be treated like this is completely deplorable. I have to say I feel completely disrespected and I don't know why we were treated like this as I come here very often. Now even going back seems like a bad idea; because even if I got something from here it probably wouldn't taste good because all I could think about was how disgusting I was treated. And also I think doing inventory while customers are waiting to be served is completely rude.

Any of their bakery will satisfy your taste buds for dessert. Cakes, cookies, donuts... no exceptions... This location has been a long time, just like the one at 2062 NJ-27, Edison. I have visited both from 25 years ago... Brown Dirby cake is me and my wife's favorite!!!
