I only get this because my daughter likes it but I will never go to this store again. For months when I picked up my order I would ask for plates and they would say they didn't have any. today I went and asked for plates for my extra large pie and one guy goes to the back. The guy in the front asked how many plates I wanted. I said 8 so he yells back 8. The guy comes back with 1 plate (for an extra large pie). The other guy says he wants 8 plates to which he responds we only give 1 plate for free and you have to pay for the other ones. so that is it for papa john on park avenue in south plainfield... I will never again go to this place. I don't know if this is under new management or not but the service has dropped drastically over the last few months.

Not sure what happened with this location if it was sold or what pizza is different not as good wings come with almost no sauce and what ever was in the wrapping spilled out and the cardboard box is Saturated in it. On top of the slow delivery I got a text saying it was on the way at 6:25 it got to me at 7:05 I leave a few blocks away 3min drive tops

You see, I’ve been a pizza lover for a long time, but never have I ever eaten food this bad. When I ordered, I had mentioned to the staff up front that I wanted my pizza clean cut and well done. When I received my order, it was in fact not well done. When I asked for plates and seasonings, the staff seemed very displeased with my request and after a long sigh handed me 2 special seasoning packets for 2 medium pizzas. When I was about to ask for more, the employee quickly went to the back and didn’t come out. After getting home, I heated it up and to my surprise, there was basically no sauce and no cheese. Ob top of that the cheese tastes weird, and the crust is very white. This might have been the worst pizza ever. It’s so bad I had to leave this review so that others stay away from this location, as it is not living up to Papa John’s standards.

Was craving pizza all day yesterday so I figured I'd give Papa John's a try. Now it has been over ten years since I last had Papa John's and it was quite good back then. I'll start with cost $15.99 for a medium two topping is highway robbery. Toppings were bacon and pepperoni. Especially considering I could've went to Domino's which is less then 2 minutes away from Papa John's and gotten two medium two toppings for only like 2 bucks more. As far as the pizza it didn't taste like I remembered not even close it tasted off yet I ate it cause I was hungry. Today since I woke up I've been on the toilet 4 times not even Taco Bell has ever made me go that many times. Then again Taco Bell never gave me food poisoning as I suspect Papa John's did. Needless to say last night will be the last time I ever order your poison pizza. I'll also be telling everyone I know to avoid your trash food.

Poor understanding on taking order for delivery i ordered a pepperoni pizza and they got me a supreme all vegetables and ham. not happy at all with my order
Curt customer service in person. Asked about menu, told to look on line. At minimum expected worker to say all items are displayed on wall. If so I would know my options. He didn't care if I ordered or not. Really uncomfortable vibe. Walked out.

Was in the mood for a Papadia, and man did they deliver! ?? service was busy, we came on Superbowl Sunday so they were extremely booked with orders but still managed to get our order done in a decent amount of time. Other people were a little hostile about orders being behind, but the customer service was great to us. The papadia was flavorful and tasteful. Definitely loved it. ??

They don’t even know how to make pizza or anything people working there without even uniforms HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!Specially manger he doesn’t even know how to talk to a customerNever had an issue anywhere but here I had to leave my food there and call customers service .

i received an old, cold pizza. theres no way around it, they gave me a pizza that was sitting around for a while.. didnt even bother putting in the effort to warm it up before i got there.

The spinach topping on the pizza. Is the spinach supposed to smell like weed or is that how baked spinach smells. Idk i eat spinach at home all the time frozen, smothie, fresh and always get spinach on pizza but as of late this pizza the spinach topping has really strong smell. It would be crazy to think employees are contaminating orders idk. that would be illegal??
