Paulos BBQ Steakhouse

I really don’t understand how Mateo, the general manager, is in the position he holds. Waited over two hours to receive my food when we were only one of two tables at the restaurant when we arrived. He was extremely rude and questioned if I thought it was fair that I was asking him to comp my food after the long wait. He did offer me to try rodizio in the meantime (since that is what my spouse was having), but I declined. He has no sort of customer service skills to resolve issues that arise, coming from a former assistant general manager of a restaurant. He was not genuine, lacked remorse, and the back and forth was not called for because of the error on the restaurant. SHAME ON HIM!

The food is fine. They consistently will get your pick up order wrong. Every single time. When you call it sounds as if they’ve never taken a phone order before. “Hold on let me turn on the computer… etc” then when you pick it up make sure you check for salad dressing if you ordered a salad, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, that the order is the correct size! No matter how many times you repeat the order back to them and they repeat it to you it will be wrong when you pick it. Don’t leave without checking the bag. I waited 20 minutes for them to fix the order. When I called to speak to the manager after the woman who answered the phone for pick up orders said “no you didn’t wait 20 minutes” instead of apologizing.

Trash steak. No sealed surface, even a medium cooked steak is made no juice. The sea food rice is all right. The rice tastes good, but the sea food on the plate are so fishy, feeling not spiced in advance. The attitude of service is okay, but the quality is bad. Wrong dishes, wrong sides, well-done steak served for medium order. Hollering for waiter but no one coming after saying be here in a minute.

I don't wanna be mean or anything... but i ordered take out, and my food was cold, I had to reheat it once I got home. And I live 2blocks away 😔

People are all friendly there. Service is great.

Only one small recommendation, when they bring BBQ to your table, because of your jacket or bag. The oil might drop on your item when they serve it between table to table.

Other than that, i would definitely go back again for the good quality of food and five stars service!

A big thank you to PaulosBBQ for hosting our guests for my father’s repast today. The food was amazing and the staff was even better.

Went here for the 1st time for lunch, and was completely blown away. I had the rodizio, and I have to admit I was the best I have ever had. The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The wait staff was amazing. They were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Everything from my appetizers to my meal was excellent. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

We have patronage Paulos BBQ Steakhouse for over 20 years. We moved out of state and came to the restaurant to celebrate a family occasion. This restaurant keeps getting better every year. They really impressed us with the updated menu and selection. The food was excellent and the staff and service was right on point.
