It’s amazing how some of the smallest, most unassuming spots turn out to have the most delicious food and Bagel 1 is absolutely one of them.
From the outside, the place might not grab your attention, it may even seem like somewhere you wouldn't go, but don’t judge a book by it's cover! The food coming out of this kitchen is delicious, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. If you’re hunting for a legit bagel or breakfast sandwich, go here.
What really stood out during my visit was the service. Wael, the gentleman working the front counter, was exceptionally polite, attentive, and patient. His attention to detail and willingness to listen closely to my order, especially as someone who likes to customize their breakfast sandwiches, this was refreshing. In many bagel spots, staff can seem rushed or distracted, but Wael made the experience easy.
Whether you're a classic bacon-egg-and-cheese kind of person or someone who likes to get a little creative with your sandwich, Bagel 1 delivers quality without the chaos. The spot is low-key, but the flavor is next level.
Highly recommend swinging by if you’re in the area and want a breakfast that hits the spot. Old Bridge is lucky to have this place!

The workers were very friendly! There's maybe a language barrier? This place has so many good-looking pictures of good food! So I ordered a pork roll egg and cheese on an egg bagel, salt, pepper, wanted ketchup on the side, and then the same with plain. I got the ketchup on it, and more ketchup on the side. No big deal. My husband got a steak egg and cheese on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. I think they got confused. Because they had a cheddar jalapeño bagel. But when we opened it up, they cooked a plain bagel on top of slices of cheddar and jalapeño. Which was honestly hilarious.

I asked for an egg and cheese on a plain bagel but the establishment gave it to me on a roll ( not to mention I was the only one in the store ) So many items/ options in the store but I don’t believe it’s consistent with the execution for every plate . Gives off a corner deli vibe but hard to tell if it’s even a bagel shop . I ordered here 2 years ago which was amazing but now it’s just mid . Good people too

I love this place. Bagels are always fresh. I always get a bacon, egg and cheese with or without avocado depending on my mood and it’s so good the bacon comes out nice and crispy not burnt but not soggy. The only thing I noticed the last time I was there I don’t know if the guy is the owner or what but he offered me “free gummy candy” (the hamburger gummies) like literally handed it to me and then proceeded to charge me for it. Like why say it’s free if it’s not lol

The pancakes were OLD AND SOUR ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Im so pissed. They are Sour and rubbery I guess they put water into old batter instead of making them fresh. I don’t know how long the batter has been sitting in the fridge, but they should just make fresh batter every day. It cost almost nothing. The potatoes have no seasoning they don’t even peel them just huge chunks of potatoes on my sandwich. This was extremely subpar and a waste of money. The coffee was also watery as hell.
