Have been eating here for years. Best sub in the area. Always fresh, consistent and the newest owners are great. No grey roast beef here. The bread makes it over the top.

Since 1970... 12/29/23 Stopped in earlier to pick up lunch. Ordered 2 cold half sandwiches. I'll stress that you should look a menu beforehand. As this place is tiny. It's easy to drive right by if you don't know the area. They were turkey & Swiss plus a roast beef with provolone. My roast beef was shaved with the works. The bread is soft and pillowy. Best bread I've had in a deli around central NJ. Easily :) Staff is very efficient. Prices are reasonable. Each cost about $8. You really don't have to order a whole sandwich. Reading other reviews for this place they mention about 3 and 6 foot heroes for catering purposes. Something to consider for a holiday party. Enjoy.

Tiny Sub Shop that doesn't disappoint. Had a very good amount of meat & just enough lettuce, tomatoes & onions not to overshadow the sandwich. Had a whole #1 and couldn't eat the entire sandwich. This place beats the heck out of chain places.

One of the best sub shops in all of NJ. I've been a regular here for over 10 years and whenever I'm craving a sub, this is where I'm stopping. There's some debate on who reigns supreme in this area for subs and without naming names R&M takes the W every time - no contest. I'm a cold sub gal so haven't had too many of their hot options, but their turkey/prov (sometimes ham) with the works is anything but boring. Super fresh, super flavorful and always filling. The bread is great too which is one of the reasons I love it so much. It's a small building with only a few parking spaces so it can get a little crowded, but their service is quick and efficient. No tables, just order at the counter kind of joint. I like getting one of their giant dill pickles on the side that they'll slice for you. Ran by the loveliest people and a business I hope remains for years and years to come.

Great subs! Never disappointed. Better bring your appetite for the belly buster! Top it off with some chips and the nice lady will ring it all up for you. Staff is super friendly!!

I would frequent this establishment if I lived closer! This place is a must stop everytime I am visiting my mother. I always say what makes the best subs is the bread, and they have the best! Always friendly, shop is always clean. My mouth waters on the ride just thinking about it. Highly, highly recommend!!
