My husband and I went out with some friends to half off apps. We got there first and we weren't sure the total number of our party and let the hostess know we were waiting on more but didn't know how many. We sat down trying to get a headcount of friends. A minute or two later a second hostess asks us "Do you know about how many??" and she seemed aggravated and pushy for an answer. There was weird whisperings among the staff that we didn't know how many people. Not really sure what the issue was there as my husband and i didn't mind waiting to be seated. Then when everyone arrived we said 8 people and the second hostess, as she is walking us to our table, "whispers" to a waiter "now there's 8 people".Everyone has an off night, and maybe there's an explanation but it was uncomfortable to say the least.The waiter did his job well, was friendly and brought food and drinks in a timely fashion.

My server was Monica and she was the best ever. She's really quick and smart like she was helping another table and like looked at me briefly and i was able to ask her for another drink with just a quick look. I was astonished. Genuinely really smart woman and you should ask for her if you're coming in. I got everything i couldve wanted at this applebees. All the runners who helped her were nice too.
Good food and drink at reasonable prices. Enjoy going for their soups and appetizers and to enjoy a cocktail. Friendly and fast service.

Went there on Thursday night, there were 5 of us. They say us at a 4 top. I requested a bigger table as we would not fit with all food the drinks the hostess was not happy. We then placed our appetizers and dinners. 2 got all you can eat deals. The appetizers came out good then the food came out. We had to place all of our food from the apps in a pile for them to be taken. The all you can eat boneless wings are pieces of chicken fingers coated or at least ours were. They were over cooked and hard. The waiter came back eventually and we said can we have another option he saw the plate of the chicken still there and said sure what do you want we said you can't bite these they are so old his response oh ok what else do you want to try. I was speechless.My 5 year old got the chicken fingers kids meal. The chicken was so hard he could not bite through. I ended up just sharing my fettuccine Alfredo with him because I already knew nothing was going to be done. Again when the waiter came he asked if my son was done a full plate of food and we said yeah but again no questions as to why food is not being eaten. The shrimp was good but make sure you get this first as my husband got this his 2nd time and he for 5 pieces of the fried shrimp. Again all you can eat but when the waiter doesn't come often it is hard to get more food that you are paying for.Our bill totalled 104.00 but really only 3 of us got to eat what they wanted ( we paid for all 5 Obviously) we did leave a 20 tip though as I won't take quality of food out on the server but the server certainly didn't care if the food was good or not.We always went to the Doylestown Applebee's. So disappointing with the product anymore.
I went to Applebees with my family on Friday, we recently lost our mom and coming out to eat really cheer us up, and all thanks to this one server that made our experience at the restaurant, amazing. Our server Monica was always checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Her personality is incredible, she made us feel like if we were all her friends! Making us laugh the entire night and helping us pick the best meals and drinks. We had an amazing experience thanks to her, we definitely needed that more than ever. Thank you.
