I had to go to the pharmacy in Sparta (not near my home) a few weeks ago. It was about 5:00 PM and I googled to find a place where I could get something to eat, as I hadnât thought about dinner until then. Burger and Butcher was 4 minutes away and looked like a place to go for a quick bite. It wasnât exactly what I had expected, as you either typed in your order or ordered at the counter and then found a table. The burger (Pat LaFrieda meat) was delicious and so were the fries cooked in tallow. So, when I had to go to the pharmacy again, I was happy to go there and tried the cheesesteak. Delicious. I donât eat beef often, so a treat. Friendly service, clean and now my go to place up there. Enjoy.

The food was good, but a single burger should not even be on the menu. The burger-to-bread ratio is way off, and itâs a disservice to your taste buds. However, the fries, tenders, and sauces are all good. The flavors of the fried items overlap due to the oil they use, which has a strong flavor. Overall, for a burger and fries, itâs solid.

Burger and the Butcher in Sparta is fantastic! I really appreciate their commitment to using clean ingredients, which makes a difference you can taste. The burgers are incredibly delicious and satisfying, and the thick shakes are absolutely heavenlyâa perfect classic pairing. The French fries were also delicious and perfectly seasoned, but if I had one tiny note, they could have been a bit hotter when they arrived. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal!

I ordered a burger with sauteed onions, cheese, pickles and tomatoes. Very delicious! They're french fries were fabulous as they were fried in tallow. Don't skip their homemade ketchup, it was a great combination of tomato and spice.

My son and I both ordered the B&B burgers with a family size order of the French fries. Also, 2 of the side sauces. The woman who greated us was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is comfortable and well kept.

Probably the worst overall food I've had in a long time. The skinny little Burger was hardly even visible on the roll, the paper it was served on was completely filled with grease, the french fries were brownish and overcooked, the ketchup tasted like a weird tomato sauce and the soda well forget about it if you wanted to get a coke. It was Cola but it tasted like flat cinnamon water. Atmosphere was very cute but I can tell you I will never go back to this place and on top of it, it was extremely pricey. $50 for two burgers, a split of french fries and two sodas.

Incredible burger. Meat quality is there. Milkshake was solid too. Appreciated the fries as well. Advice there is they are very heavy, the family size portion can easily satisfy 3-4 adults. Their triple patty burger is no joke either from a portion standpoint.

Overall phenomenal experience. The service was great and all of the employees had a positive attitude. The menu has some great options, the food is delicious, and you can put down a decent amount without feeling âsluggishâ or âheavyâ afterwords. The sauces complement the burgers and chicken tenders very well (I recommend the basil aoli and the house special) and the sourdough donut holes are TO DIE FOR. Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you havenât already!
