I am disappointed in the lack of vegan options. I just learned today that the matcha powder and the chai powder used in their drinks both contain dairy derivatives. This is regardless of which milk option you choose. They change their menu every season but every season I look and they still fail to come out with a vegan lunch option other than the same one they’ve had for years which is the wrap, and if you don’t want the wrap you can get the salad version which is the same exact thing without the wrap. It seems like Cloveberry doesn’t care at all to provide options for people with allergies or food restrictions. This is disappointing being that it’s a local coffee shop.

I don't even live here, from the DMV area but I married a Jersey man and every time I come to visit the family, I have to have Cloveberry. Food is great, drinks are great, I'm plant based and recently had to switch over to gluten free and was happy to know that I still had options here. Matcha latte with cardamom syrup is the absolute way to go, I’m telling you

Cloveberry has always been one of our favorite spots since the first day they open, but unfortunately, my husband and I have had several disappointing experiences with the same employee at the register. On multiple occasions, she’s been short, dismissive, and visibly annoyed with us both on the phone and in person. It really takes away from what should be a welcoming environment.
I completely understand that working weekends can be tough, but customers shouldn’t feel like a burden just for placing an order. It’s happened enough times now that it’s hard to overlook, and it’s making us think twice about coming back — which is a shame, because the coffee and food are always excellent.

Fantastic local coffee shop and breakfast/lunch spot. I had the pistachio latte which was amazing, and the rose cardamon chai is also amazing. The egg pimento sandwich is so good and has such unique flavors. I dream of this sandwich! The bacon jam sandwich is also fantastic. The seating at Cloveberry is comfortable and spacious, both inside and outside. Definitely a favorite for me!

I got a really reallt great matcha latte from here! It is such a cute little store on a cute street. Sometimes parking is busy so sometimes Ill park at the post office and walk down. Havent eaten here in a very long time but I remember the food being very good!
