I ordered the salmon with lemon dill sauce. Came with potatoes, veggies and a side salad. Good size portion. Delicious!
Service is great. Food is meh. They have homemade potato chips but they were not made fresh. Mine were cold and a bit soggy from the oil. They must be great when they are just made but I will never know since I likely won't be back. No free refills. That's a pet peeve of mine. Soda is dirt cheap for them. Most good restaurants give free refills. They have an upcharge for beef, which is understandable, but it was extreme. Adding steak to quesadillas was an extra $18 on top of a $12 cost. The server was alone but she hustled and was friendly. We got our food fast.
Did the Legend challenge here years ago. Crushed the record in 22 minutes. Got a Hall of Fame t-shirt and my name in the book. This place was in the movie In And Out with Kevin Kline. Cool vibe.
I really want this place to be better...since covid portions are smaller and quality isn't the same...place just isn't worth it's prices... its unfortunate because I used to love this place.
My wife and I were there and had their Meatloaf platter. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Not many places can I say that about.
I love the place and the food was so good!
No cheese on the gross cheeseburger, ordered a quesadilla…. Got a pile of mush. The only good thing about this place was the waitress. The Mac & cheese the cook forgot to make. Yelled out of the kitchen it’s not his problem. Never received two orders of rice pudding either. Completely overpriced and a waste of money.
Had lunch with our kids from South Carolina. We had a fun time while eating great food! My daughter and I had french onion soup and split the salad. My husband had split pea soup and a blt. My son had a big burger, and my son in law had the cheesesteak. We left full and happy!
Nothing great, nothing that shouts must go. Unsure how the establishment got its rating. My “freshly” made chips were stale and cold, it was not even salted as i believe you should do immediately after its fried. Barely had enough ketchup for my steak sandwich. Which was made fairly well and its main saving grace from me just giving 1 stars all around. With that said girlfriend ordered a burger medium and got rare. Maybe because i came on black friday in the afternoon it didnt give a family restaurant vibe? There was not much customers and yet the waitress didn’t clean tables till we reached there and didn’t even give us silverwares properly. Highly disappointed and just feel that this location deserved the rating it has on google.
If you like pittoresque places, you will love this place. A nice supper by the fireplace

the first time we went was outstanding.....food, service the whole thing! Not sure if it was just our server or what but people that got there 15 minutes after us were eating and we just couldn't take it any more and decided to leave. When we talked to the server she said we were waiting on 2 more things....we only ordered 3....lol. But the one tables had one of the things we ordered.... which was maybe the only thing we were waiting for a cheese burger......cause the other things were a grilled cheese and the third was chicken strips......so sad cause the first time really was a great experience but the 2nd shot that down real fast
I called for a take out order. Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks! $16 for 8 the worst wings I ever had! They were smaller than a bird! Three mozzarella sticks for $13 with no taste! Horrible! Will never go there again!
Great food and a lot of fun on karaoke night!

Sooooo, reviewing a food establishment generally tends to be all about personal preference...right? Unless the whole experience (food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, etc) across the board is crap. My girlfriend and I stopped in a week or so ago for the first time after years of talking about it. Lots of parking and how the place looked/decorated was cool, our waitress was very friendly as well. We didnt order apps, just because none really stood out that we wanted to try. Ordered the grilled salmon with baked potato and veggies...Cattle Rustler ribeye with mashed potatoes and veggies...we each had 2 mixed drinks and got a slice of carrot cake to go. The salmon was flakey and good, potato was bare with just butter on it and the veggies were OK. Ribeye was cooked perfectly...average flavor, average mashed potatoes and veggies were ok. The drinks were good, but the carrot cake was dry....cake itself crumbled. Will we be back, no....but I wouldn't tell anyone not to come here.

Food and service were average. We arrived an hour before closing and initially felt rushed. After we ate quickly, it was a little more relaxed and we were out before closing time. I think the chef forgot the parmesan cheese on my Caesar salad as I couldn't find it. Artichoke dip was very cheesy and tortilla chips homemade and crispy. The fish and chips was ordinary but the tartare sauce had a nice touch of lemon. The live acoustic guitar performance was wonderful. The atmosphere was great! The smell of wood smoke, giant wagon wheel benches, horse photos and memorabilia covering the walls... Even a life sized horse outside to draw visitors in. We'll be back to retry the food and enjoy the locale again!
