We had a 30th birthday party dinner with about 25 people and it was really great! The food, service, space, location and price were all perfect for us. It was a 5 course meal that everyone honestly enjoyed, and the timing between went smoothly. There was space to mingle and relax, and times to sit and enjoy the meal. Photo ops on the boardwalk with the lake. We had fun. We would book with them again!

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose il Porto on Lake Mohawk for Sparta, our 127th town.

It was crisp fall evening and after walking around the lovely Lake Mohawk "downtown", we popped into il Porto for dinner. Views are amazing. Right on the lake especially if you sit outside in the summer - it’s gorgeous. Food was ok. Calamari and sliders are good. Fish dishes were good too, the pasta was okay. Would recommend just for views alone.
