Came here with a coworker and will definitely be coming back. Service was excellent! Both the ladies that helped us were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good as well! I had the french onion soup and the hawaiian pizza. The french onion soup was ok. Not the best I've had but not the worst. The hawaiian pizza was great though! The crust was excellent and the toppings were in good portion. As for the atmosphere, I arrived when the restaurant wasn't so busy so we had our choice of seats. We chose to sit in the area with lots of windows and sunlight and the view of the lake was beautiful (despite parked cars being in the way). I would definitely be coming back with other family and friends to try some other dishes.

I recently dined at Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The French onion soup was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor and topped with perfectly melted cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection, and their seafood options were fresh and flavorful. The location was charming, and the restaurant's authentic design added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience!

The food here is tasty and better than bar food. We have been here a few times and love sitting in the treehouse setting if it's available! The staff are nice, there's a Karen who is particularly great w kids and went out of her way to find an extra long French fry in the kitchen to impress my boys! We always go here when we go to Sparta! It's a tradition

Made reservation for 4 before a show in Newton. Place was hopping but sat right away. Hadn't had a burger in a while and they didn't disappoint. Cooking perfectly! We were all pleased with our choices and will definitely return. Sat in preferred dining area instead of gallery.

I always check the worst review before checking the best. In this case I found the worst very strange. This place was awesome! Friendly service, great bourbon selection and I didn't find it loud even though it was pretty full. The butternut squash soup was delicious, and the vegetarian nachos are fantastic. They were loaded with black beans, onions and peppers. A complete meal. Definitely worth a try and if we're ever in this neck of the woods we'll be back. PS. The soap in the bathroom smells great!

First time here for New Years day with family, and first and foremost, the location is great! Practically overlooking the lake. The woodwork inside is really nice and has a lively yet cozy atmosphere. The food was good too! Their Nachos were some of the best I have ever had. All of us were pleased with our food. Our server was great. We did order appetizers and lunch, and it all came out together it took about 30+ minutes, which was surprising since we ordered immediately and the crowd died down once we arrived. I'm not sure what the issue was. I do still recommend this restaurant and they do suggest reservations which we did.
We live in Cranford and decided to get away for a weekend before Christmas, so I booked us at the Ampersand Inn (highly recommend).We wandered and walked and found Krogh's. How can you not go in?! It's so inviting from the outside. We got a booth by the window and enjoyed the wine, the food, the service the atmosphere. A sweater, jeans & boot and an appetite are all you need. We plan to drive over later today or next week.Parking: We parked down the street and enjoyed to walk. It was Christmas and beautiful there.Kid-friendliness: It's kinda loud so kids won't be a bother
