Ordered a birthday cake . Cake was ascetically pretty but so unimpressed from a taste perspective. So mediocre wish I had went to Costco.

I loved seeing this cute little French restaurant. It was really nice to sit down and what not, and get the cute little drinks and stuff. Definitely an A for presentation. The service was good, I don't really remember, but I just know it was good, so that's all you need to know. The food was really good! Not very stand out, but good nonetheless. Getting a pastry from there tasted a bit stale though. Other than that great!

My good friend took me here today to eat with my 2 year old. He started to cry as we were waiting to be seated. His lollipop fell on the floor and the owner of the restaurant rinsed it off and gave it back to him. She then asked us to follow her back and take a seat. We sat down and she gave us the menu, then immediately said "Is he going to stop crying anytime soon because I have multiple customers already complaining." I did not even have time to comfort him yet. Sorry I can't control when my toddler has a tantrum. Also she was with us the entire time and neither I nor my friend saw anyone approach her to complain about my toddler, and she claimed "multiple" customers had already complained to her. Right after she said that a woman with red hair approached us and immediately asked if we were ready to order yet. We did not even look at the menu and we had just gotten to the table. Felt very very rushed. I took my son outside to get his bottle and he cried a little more when we came back inside, but settled down fine after. We were tempted to leave, but my son was hungry so we decided to stay and I am glad we did because if we left they would have gotten exactly what they wanted. Asked the waitress who the lady with blonde hair was and she confirmed that was the owner. I highly suggest not eating here, the owner was very rude and unprofessional. She could have easily said "can you please take him outside for a moment to calm down." They also do not have a kids menu. Please take your business elsewhere.

Went there today with a dear friend and her two year old son for early lunch. Unfortunately he was not having a good day . He was crying as they sat us down. Within a minute a woman came over and stated "there are several people already complaining about his crying " and asked if he was going to stop crying soon? lol. .. it seemed so far fetched because we ONLY just sat down and their was no time for anyone to complain ! . I understand we all don't like to hear children crying when we are dining but it felt super uncomfortable to be approached in this manner . The mother took him outside immediately to try and calm him down. What we should have done was left immediately !! Also ..To find out from the waitress at the end of our meal it was the "owner of the cafe ". More disappointing! .. the little boy eventually calmed down but inside I was so angry that we were treated this way . My friend also felt uncomfortable because of her ethnicity and stated to me " if I was white I wonder if she would have approached us the same way " embarrassed and didn't know what to say ! I certainly hope not in this day and age !! Sorry Cafe Perot I won't be visiting your establishment anymore ..

Lovely little place for with excellent deserts. We had lunch. It has a rustic French feel. Not stupid expensive, but not cheap.

I called on behalf of my boss, to order a bereavement tray to a staff member’s family. The delivery address was 10 minutes from the business and the cost for delivery was $35. It was a tray of cookies, as that was basically all that was available. I needed something delivered that same day. I was told anything like sandwiches, or any other food items, was not possible. My boss agreed to this outrageous gouging, as we were both on a time crunch and we needed our gesture of condolences to get to the family in time for the services. I will not recommend this business to anyone who lives in that vicinity. As a customer, and a business owner, I have never felt so dismissed when seeking a business out, and being made to feel like I was “bothering” them instead of showing appreciation for the purchase.

My friend took me for lunch today for my 70th birthday. My California burger was burnt - I ordered it Medium - and the bun top was also burned black after the waitress dropped the first one on the floor.I have lived in Sparta for 21 years & I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The place is beautiful and ambiance is nice, but be careful parking, lot is way too small for the business, very hard to find a spot. Came for breakfast at 10:50 am, no breakfast was being served, so that was disappointing, ordered lunch, food was very bland and dry, it looked a lot better than it tasted. Cannot stress how old the food tasted, and unseasoned, tasteless and stale. Salads that came with the quesadilla were very old tasting too like they'd been made a week ago. Coffee was very weak and warm, not hot, shocking for a cafe... for the price of the bill, you'd think you'd leave satisfied, but I didn't even eat my food, it was that bad. Our waitress disappeared from us for a while, the table was cleared by a bus girl and it still took the waitress 15 minutes to bring the bill to the point we were wondering if we hd to pay up front? No one advised. Very disappointing considering the reputation but judging from other reviews, not unfounded. Unfortunately will not be back.

Strawberry and cream cupcakes tasted very chemical-like. Also, $3.50 a piece for tiny cupcakes is absolutely outrageous.

Food presentation is appealing but doesn't exactly match the taste and execution. But wose than that, I was not allowed to sit at a larger table;even though, they had 5 larger tables that could accomoadate 4, that were available. Still strange was I was told they could only sit 6 people at these tables.I'm a larger person and the smaller tables, which were mostly all taken up with others, were going to be very uncomfortable for me. Well, they would let me sit at a larger table but, it was in the dungeon with no windows or adequate light. I would not recommend this place for those who have a larger frame.

Top notch place for breakfast or lunch! Our party ordered Eggs Benedict, Croque Madam, Grown Up Grilled Cheese and a Chicken Caesar Wrap and all were terrific. Great service and atmosphere as well with reasonable prices.

I arrived at around 10AM and the place was packed. Service was great as well as the their French toast, which light and soft with airy whipped, which I like.

Excellent bakery selection and the friendly staff are always a pleasure to deal with. Picked up a gift card today for a Christmas stocking stuffer, so more to follow.
