Ice cream flavors were just not good and we tried so many different things. We got the monster shake, chocolate milk shake, vanilla ice cream cone, brownie sundae and the cannoli nachos and the only thing anyone actually liked was the brownie itself and the cannoli chips dipped in the fudge. First the brownie sundae shows and is advertised with hard vanilla ice cream, my son asked for chocolate instead of vanilla and was served it with soft serve chocolate. Turns out they don't even have hard vanilla ice cream. If that's how you're going to serve it, update your picture. The soft serve ice cream melts almost immediately on the brownie. The monster milkshake has a weird taste/flavor to it. In the cannoli nachos we got cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter and moose tracks. Moose tracks tasted freezer burnt and you could not taste any peanut butter in the chocolate peanut butter. Oh and the chocolate shake was mediocre. We were looking for a new ice cream spot here in Sparta and did not find it here. Very disappointed.

We were stuck in traffic so we made a very quick last minute decision to get a sweet treat and IT WAS WORTH IT!! This was really good ice cream and you can even enjoy it outside at the tables they have. If I'm ever in the area again, I would make a planned stop for another cone and try some of the other flavors!! (We had Choco Peanut Butter and Birthday Cake)

It may be because I’m surrounded by better ice cream shops (Cliffs+Denville dairy) but everything that I tried here was really awful. Service was great and location was beautiful

Customer service was awful. Yesterday I wanted to take my girlfriend to one of my favorite ice cream shops around since she recently moved here and I took her here which was a bad idea. The lady upfront looked like she was completely dreading being there and working there in general. So nonchalant and rude in the questions we had. Alexandra P might as well not work there if you’re gonna have consistent customers talking about their bad experience bc of you smh. ANYWAYS if it wasn’t for the ice cream being so so good I would ditch this place. Sparta Shack please do better hiring your employees

Got the pebbles shake which was good but horrible customer service. Girl decided upon herself to round up the .81 cents instead of take the time to provide change, didn’t put the fruity pebbles on top of my drink, and had a snide comment when my kid asked to change her order one second after she walked away. She had not started to prepare anything yet. From the second I got there it was a burden and she was in a rush to just be done with us meanwhile there were no other customers waiting to be served.

Poor customer service. Walk up to the front and the woman is at the inside counter on her phone. She really didn't want to be there. Meanwhile her 4 year old son greets us. He's pleasant but can't help us. We go inside to try to be served and she says there are no menus inside and to go back out. We do. There is a large menu but no prices. Finally we spot a tiny one with prices. Over priced ice cream but since we had our kids we decide to order. The woman can't hear us due to the highway noise so we go back inside to order. For some reason there are racks of clothes I guess for sale but they have no prices. They're just in the way of the counter. Bizarre. Won't go again.
