I was a hoping for more. A restaurant in a nice little town that has a Biergarten sounded promising. Dinner for two of us at St. Moritz was ... decent. Nothing stood out particularly. I had to return my first draft beer (it was flat) and the service was okay. To be fair, one of us had a burger, and it was good. The execution on the German food was again, just OK.
Our group of four had another delicious meal at St. Moritz Grill and Bar. We passed on appetizers but each one of us enjoyed our meals: chicken schnitzel, winter harvest salad with salmon, salmon tacos and pork ragu. Since my wife is gluten sensitive, she asked our server, Matthew, if the tacos could come on corn tortillas. Started going here in 2016 after moving out of Clifton I love it. There was a point were the execution of the food went way down and the prices went up, so we stopped going for a couple years, but I just visited this past Christmas and I'm very pleased to say they're back and better than ever. The food is great, the bar is great, but you'll probably leave hungry. (I'm skinny as a rail and do every time.) Which when paired with their prices, make it someplace...
