I was driving by and stopped to have dinner at this place. Not a fancy place but my meal was excellent.. I had stuffed eggplant and was totally satisfied. Service was fine, young lady didn't speak much English but that made the place so much more authentic. All the people eating here was Middle East and that how you now the food will be good

You need to work on stuffed meats and koshari so they taste better. Sandwiches and grills, Helen. You should add a tray of potatoes, egg sandwiches, potatoes with Egyptian cheese, orzo soup, and lentil soup.

Tried the lentil soup and grilled branzino. The fish was blackened with some kind of rub on it. I only ate a few bites of each, with the rice that came with it. Tasted okay, but was sick all night from the meal.

Went there last week for take out during dinner time. The place was supposed to close at 8:30 PM. I went there at 8:00 but looked like they had wrapped up for the day. But there was an elderly gentleman who could only speak Arabic. He was nice enough to make me a shawarma platter that night. Service was great - he was extremely courteous. Food was so-so. Pretty bland compared to other similar middle-eastern / Mediterranean food in the neighborhood. But, I may go back again to try other stuff on the menu and for the sake of that gentleman who went the extra mile to attend to customers.

Came here on a late afternoon and service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and best of its kind in the far area. We ordered phyllo stuffed with meat, a fish platter and a kofta platter. The phyllo was light, packed with stuffing, and cooked to perfection. Both platters came with rice, which was cooked well and seasoned nicely, and a side salad which had fresh lettuce and vegetables. The kofta and fish were flavorful and paired perfectly with the rice and salad. Overall a great place with kind staff and owners -- definitely a must try.

I usually dont write reviews but this place has amazing home made Egyptian food. I usually dont feel good ordering food for dinner I believe in home cooked meal but not with Taza. My kids love all their food. The macaroni béchamel, zucchini béchamel and grape leaves are some of our favorites. The grilled chicken and booftek is also great. The service is awesome. I usually call for pick and they never turn me down.

We ordered about an hour before we got there and yet our food was still not ready. The rice was uncooked, salad had no flavor, tahina tasted a little bitter, chicken was dry and rough, kofta didn’t taste that good either. I was quite disappointed especially for the prices. Don’t recommend going. There’s much better restaurants for Egyptian foods and better prices.

I only ordered the shawarma sandwich and while it was a decent size and was filled. It was not an authentic shawarma sandwich, the meat was more of like a cheese steak meat. The meat was juicy but the sandwich lacked the authentic sauce usually found on shawarma. It lacked a lot of toppings usually found too . It was a good sandwich but was not a shawarma and don't think that I'll be returning

I just moved to the area from out of town, and this was the first restaurant I tried in the area. The food is authentic and delicious. The woman who owns it is very nice, and I will absolutely be back again! I need to keep trying different things off the menu! This place is a gem!
