Wow! We may have found our new favorite place! Oceanside, veranda seating was warm and cozy, even in the rain. Highly recommend. The entire staff provided superb service and everyone we encountered was accommodating, genuinely friendly and on point. The star of the show, however was the food!! Huge portions, every entree was delicious and the meatball appetizer is a must have! We can't wait to return! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Its pretty pricey. Large portions. Clams oreganata and chicken parm was excellent, everything else ok. For a place that charges $24 for 3 cocktail shrimp the least they could do is not have watered down soap in the bathroom.

Dinner at Amelia's was fabulous. Lovely atmosphere inside the Grand Victorian. The staff were friendly and 6 we never felt rushed. The food was everything we had hoped for, all the dishes at the table were memorable. We started with a meatball app, highly recommended, though if youre sharing among more than two people, you may need more than one. The short rib ragu was delicious, chicken milanese, chicken saltimbocca and others were all wonderful. It was BYOB when we went, so check before you go, but they do have a full bar at certain times. We'll definitely be back.

This is my third dinner at this fantastic restaurant. All of my dining partners raved about the food, service, and ambience. Besides the service , the gracious restaurant maitre d was very attentive and accommodating. He made sure everyone was being taken good care of and happy. He overheard that it was my birthday and when my crème brûlée arrived it included a single burring candle. So very thoughtful. We had a wonderful dinner and we were made to feel welcomed and appreciated. Looking forward to brunch there and the Italian Gravy Sundays.

Venue is lovely. Service was excellent. Food is decent but very overpriced. Prices werent posted on the online menu. Now i know why. $31 for an average but hardly outstanding, small bowl of lobster bisque; $40 for a basic lasagna. Absurdly overpriced.

This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants down the shore. I went for my birthday in August-which was a beautiful time to be down by the beach and the atmosphere at Amelia's offers a beachy, romantic looking main room - light & bright, yet warm and inviting. There are outer rooms to sit that have a more casual feel. I also went for a late Valentine's Day/anniversary w my husband last week (March) and while it was colder outside, the inside was just as cozy and inviting. The food is impeccable, I don't think I have had anything even so-so there, or other people at my table. The preparation is first-rate, seafood is fresh and the portions are very good (seafood pasta I made dinner out of it 3x!) but it doesn't fall short on flavor. The host/owner is very attentive and so polite and friendly, as are the wait staff. I live a little further away from the shore these days, but I have no problem getting down to my new favorite place in Spring Lake! Win win for Amelia's & the beach across the street!

It was a horrible night for weather with rain and high winds. We were soaked by the time we got into the restaurant. The only thing that I was hoping for was good food, good wine and good company. We had it all, and the service was great. When we were ready to leave, the owner Liam actually walked my wife and daughter out to our cars so they wouldn't fall in the heavy rain and winds. Overall, great experience, and we'll continue to patronize this great spot!!!

Fabulous food, attentive service without being intrusive. Totally enjoyed our visit. Owner came over to see how everything was, and genuinely interested in how our dining experience was......

We made reservations at Amelia’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was listed on Google as a fancy, romantic restaurant. Well it was neither. We were told by two different employees that the porch was heated. It certainly didn’t feel that way as I was not the only person to keep my coat on while eating. When we were being seated we couldn’t believe how loud the music was and it was not romantic at all! We love to listen to classic rock but on this special occasion we had hoped to hear some love songs…maybe Frank Sinatra. There was a candle holder on our table with no candle. I had to ask our server for a candle. We saw only one table that had two mainly dead flowers in a vase. There were no fresh flowers on any of the tables. We were SO disappointed from the moment we were shown to our table. The ambiance was a “0”!!! I could tell that my husband wanted to leave. When we sat down we were discussing going to another restaurant but figured there were only very late reservations remaining at that point, so we stayed but that was a mistake. The food was average. The server was very good. However, we couldn’t wait to leave! We were cold and the music was way too loud. We will not be returning to Amelia’s.

Had a very nice dinner last night with good friends we hadn't been out with in a year. The food was good as usual, and our server didn't rush us as we tried to catch up on the past year. A very good experience in a consistently good restaurant.

Amelia's is a charming little place and the food is very tasty. Had to wait a bit for our table and service was decent after, except we are pretty sure they switched up the regular & decaf coffees. Food was very tasty. Prices are a bit high for the area but expected that however, there was an appetizer on the specials menu for $41! Overall still a good experience.

Wonderful dining experience on our second visit to Amelia's; the first visit was to Barelli's just a few years ago. We come from the Princeton area, and Amelia's is now one of our favorite "special night out" places. The service was excellent, the food extraordinary. My gnocchi Bolognese exceeded my expectations, as did my wife's eggplant Parmigiana. The polenta-battered calamari was delicious - so very fresh, as was everything served. Highest recommendations!
