Friendly staff, tasty and creative flavors. There can be a bit of a wait in the summer, this is a popular spot close to the beach.
Poor value. It’s been the same story for the past three visits over two months $9.06 for a large waffle Cone. The two scoops were barely the size of the golf ball. Even with that the scoops were basically shavings formed with much space between them, not worth it. It will select other choices in the area.
The ice cream here is excellent, but unfortunately, the overall experience is diminished by the consistently poor service.
No matter what time of day you visit, the process is disorganized and chaotic. There seems to be no clear system for taking or fulfilling orders, which leads to long wait times and confusion about who should be served next.
Purchasing ice cream should be a simple and enjoyable experience, but the lack of structure makes it frustrating.
We always get the Pralines and Cream. Only one time did it disappoint. Tasted like plain vanilla last time. I would still recommend because they are always consistently great.
The ice cream is second to none here at Hoffman’s. My entire family adores this establishment. The reason for 3 stars is because when it comes to serving the community of diabetics, they only have one offering out of the very many flavors they have, and it’s no sugar added vanilla. That’s it! It’s a shame that such an amazing and successful establishment like this doesn’t do more for the diabetic community!

I called and they told me to place my order online Instead of over the phone. I put in all the instructions.
I get home and I got a small carton of vanilla ice cream with a teaspoon of hot fudge and a few wet walnuts. $12. This place is a rip off and always has been. Will stick with Sundae Times in Spring Lake.

For a $9 milkshake I expect for it to be full and drinkable through a straw. I was very disappointed this is one of my favorite spots but it seems like it’s going down hill.
