I Bike 50 miles on Sundays through Spring Lake...apon completion, there is no place on earth I would rather be than at the "Scone Pony"!!! I Love the Beautiful Owner (husband too) and Staff. Why? Absolutely exquisite, small bakery with fresh baked goods. There are scones, muffins, coffee cake, cupcakes, tarts, and cookies, which can vary based on the day. We tried four flavors of scones and the coffee cake- all were so fresh that they were warm, fluffy, and incredibly outstanding. The Cranberry Orange Scone was our favorite. I would highly recommend visiting.
Used to live in Spring Lake Heights and loved coming here. I never liked scones till I had their's. Now I live in PA, and whenever I am in the area, I place an order or stop by. Went 5 weeks ago and got a Pumpkin Scone with Cream Cheese frosting. So good!!! I usually get chocolate chip scones for myself, but my family loves the lemon poppy and blueberry.
