We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! John and Jeannine were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were both so attentive, professional and easy going. I was not once ever stressed out regarding the planning or coordinating for the day of. They run The Spring Lake Manor like a well oiled machine. The staff was amazing, the food was incredible and everything fell into place perfectly. We had our ceremony in the main ballroom, then Jeannine had everyone move into the cocktail room (food was delicious) and then back into the main ballroom for the reception. Before the wedding started, Jeannine coordinated with our DJ so there was no confusion on timing when meals were being brought out. It flowed smoothly and effortlessly. If I could do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing! Days after our wedding, guests have been calling and texting us that it was one of the best weddings they've been to! Thank you to everyone at the Spring Lake Manor who made our wedding unforgettable!
Awesome team of people to have in charge of your event. Very professional, friendly and hard-working. Can't recommend them highly enough.
I had my dinner reception last night and they went above and beyond to make it special. The club room was perfect for my party size, intimate, beautiful decor and the staff was very professional. Bryan, the bartender was incredible. Thank you to John,Julie and the rest of the staff!
We are having a 70th birthday party at the Spring Lake Manor in October. We are having four entrees for the dinner. We knew two of the entrees we wanted, but weren't sure which of the many dishes that are offered, we wanted for the other two. The owner, John Nagle was very accommodating and and let us select some options to taste. But he didn't just provide samples but large portions. The choices were difficult since all of the selections were delicious. We are looking forward to the good food at the party.
Had our daughter’s Bridal Shower yesterday and everything was absolutely perfect. John and his staff were nothing short of amazing since the day we booked it in January. All questions and emails were answered almost immediately. The day of the shower the entire staff was pleasant and so very helpful. We definitely will be have more family events/parities there in the future.
Food was really really bad and old. Flies everywhere. Honestly disgusting. Told the manager privately and they had the audacity to literally make up a story saying that my fiancé had two orders of their watery vodka sauce pasta when he did not. Told me I made "no sense" when I was just saying the food was bad, it wasn't an opportunity for debate, but they took it as such. Bizarre way to address an upset customer.
We did the off-site BBQ for my sons 2nd birthday and everything was perfect! The staff was extremely attentive and the food was great! We also rented the tables and chairs from their party shop which was also very convenient! See you next year for his 3rd birthday!
Had my daughters baby shower here this past weekend. John and his staff were very helpful and accommodating since we booked in March. Answers emails immediately and very helpful with suggestions. The day of the shower the staff accommodated every need. Food was excellent, would definitely book another event here! Thank you John and staff for making Kim’s day so special
We held my daughter's bridal shower at Spring Lake Manor and it was wonderful. John made the planning process painless. The staff was accommodating, food was excellent and, of course, the atmosphere was perfect. Everyone had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the Spring Lake Manor.
We held our wedding here, July 23. At first we spoke to John, and he seemed to be very accommodating. We had a reschedule for Covid-19, and they were absolutely great about the entire process. We scheduled our wedding reception for the larger ball room.Things didn't start to go bad until the day of the food tasting. We were asked if we wanted to do the cocktail hour in the tent outside. We didn't want that. They told us that we were going to have cocktail hour in the room in front of our reception, and that we would have the smaller bar for a private cocktail hour for the wedding party. I didn't find out until we arrived at the reception hall that our cocktail hour had been moved to the smaller bar and they combined it for the wedding party and all our guests. This was not what we agreed to. By the time I found out many of our guests were already packed into the small bar like sardines ( mind you, my dj was not set up in that room). None of our plans were executed the way we discussed. We had candies with our names on them, they were randomly put in bowls in odd places. I tried to let it go, then we were announced, did our first dance. We were told to sit for our first course right afterwards and everyone, all our guests were sitting for about 20 minutes with boring dinner music playing( the dj was very confused at this point as he and i had a conversation about it and he was told food was coming...) and finally salads were served. I feel like the whole thing was poorly executed by the staff. The outdoor area was filthy, i was told that the area could be used for smokers, and that it would be set up for our guests. I felt like we were rushed, and at the end i was moving boxes into my truck while the tables were being cleared 5 seconds after it was over. I felt like we were promised a lot and they failed to deliver. The food was excellent. But the overall experience seemed rushed, and disorganized.
Exceleng food and service, very nice decore too.
Very nice place, large, lots of room. In my opinion, the food could have been better. The wait staff was very good, always walking around with tidbits, etc. Kept the tables clear. Again, nice place, not happy with the food.
Great place , I was present for a repast and the staff was excellent as was the food. Very nice setting.
The Spring Lake Manor catered our bridal shower on May 8, 2021.Food was fabulous and servers were incredible.I would recommend them for any event. Ours was a garden luncheon in our yard under a tent. The entire experience was outstanding.
Working from 1600 miles away, just coming out of COVID restrictions, Spring Lake Manor made it very, very easy for me to plan a beautiful wedding rehearsal dinner for my son. Not only is the venue just lovely, but they have their process down to a science. From the planning, to the decor, down to napkin colors, this is as efficient and smooth as it gets.Their sister business, Jersey Shore Party Shop, is available to economically handle additional decor, and they did a really lovely job adding a personal touch to our evening. They have great ideas, and made the room, which was already architecturally gorgeous, look warm and magical.A few days in advance, you're assigned a party manager, with whom you work to iron out final details. She was also on hand the evening of our event. That evening, the wait staff also introduced themselves, and checked in with me during the party to make sure every detail was flowing as I'd like. The food is superior. Really, really good. You don't expect steak served en masse to be restaurant-grade, but our guests raved about it, as well as the salmon, the chicken - every element. It all tasted as though it was made-to-order, for a table of four. If you've ever been in the restaurant business, you know how hard that is to accomplish for 50 at once. The timing was perfect; no one table waited longer than others, the dinner courses started and ended as though they had a staff twice the size. I cannot recommend Spring Lake Manor enough. I've never done a party anywhere that exceeded their standards, and I'm not inexperienced. Again, this is such an elegant venue. Their website photos don't do it justice. Thank you, everyone at SLM, for a memorable evening!
