We went to Spring Lake for a little getaway and a friend, as well as the place we were staying at ( the Chateau on the Lake) recommended SLS. Our server was very pleasant and kind. I ordered the tuna pizza (wow! Just wow!) and the mango sushi roll. Delicious! My husband was undecided between the crab cake and scallops. He ordered the scallops, but the server brought the crab cake by mistake. He promptly recognised his mistake and brought him the scallops, boxing the fish cakes for take home!
I need to go back!!

I had the pleasure of dinning at Spring Lake Seafood during their Omakase night. Chef Bradley and Chef Li carefully curated every course using the freshest ingredients available in season such as various types of fish and wild mushrooms. It was the best Omakase experience I’ve ever had, and I would recommend any seafood lovers to try their Omakase.

Had an awesome dinner experience with my fiancé celebrating one year out from our wedding date.
Tuna Pizza was delicious as well as the Buffalo Calamari which had a nice flair to it. My fiancé had the Ahi Tuna dinner and I had two of their special rolls.
A great spot in town that we took too long to get to!

Absolutely phenomenal food! The freshness of the tuna and every ingredient truly stands out — you can taste the quality in every bite. The dishes are beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for both a casual meal and a special night out. Highly recommend!

Food was probably a 3.5 but for the price is should be a 2. Service was very disorganized and slow. The table had 2 apps and 4 different entrees. No one thought any entree stood out. The apps were better then the entrees. The best Entree was the Wahoo special, but not the 1st one cause that was way over cooked. We had a table outside on the lower patio. The noise coming out of the upper patio was so loud we could barely hold a conversation or hear the specials from our server. The Atmosphere inside definitely had a better vibe and you could hear yourself think. I really wanted to like this place and will probably give it 1 more try, but we went to Atlantic Offshore Fishery with a large group (about 10) and everyone loved their food, service was great and we could have a conversation at our table. I also want to note we were there late September so it was not the crazy busy season or a holiday weekend.

Sushi very fresh! Edamame overcooked. Service could improve a bit . We had our pup with us and he sat by our legs on the floor. Had to clear some garbage scraps under table so he wouldn’t get to it. Overall it was decent. But wouldn’t return.

Amazing & Fresh fish!! Oysters and sushi. So good. Friendly staff. Cool place. Loved it!
They only got 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option. I have to say my experience there today was absolutely horrible. The town was packed for an Italian festival and this restaurant was literally empty. Be that as it may- my wife waited at the host stand for over 10 minutes while many staff and even a manger walked by her numerous times- not 1 person even said hello. They treated her like she was a Door Dash driver maybe because she’s not white. No one greeted her at all. Finally a mid looking older hostess walked up and didn’t even say hello- she said “what do you need”. Who trains these people. Maybe they were upset because it’s slow and no one is making money. In addition- The portion sizes have just gotten smaller and smaller as we have went a few times. You can tell half the people working there are wacko liberals. Def some people working there you know voted for Kamala. I didn’t notice many patriots on staff. Today was our last time eating there. On the ride home I looked at the reviews for the restaurant and noticed many people had similar complaints and the owner got rude on each response. I’m sure he’ll have a slick response here. He clearly isn’t taking the constructive criticism very well. It’s very evident that a lousy attitude at this place starts from ownership down to the hostess. Here are a few other great options close by to check out - La Mondina - Antonios Trattoria - La Dolce Vita- Scarborough’s- Rods We have too many great restaurants in our area to go here again. As a business owner myself- I encourage you to whip the front line staff into shape. You can respond however you like- but our experience today turned into- never eating here again. Good luck.

The food was outstanding and the service was very friendly. We chose to sit outside since the indoor area was quite loud, and it was perfect. The sushi was incredible, I would definitely return.

BEST sushi down the shore! I had honestly given up on finding quality, true sashimi-grade sushi in Ocean / Monmouth County and assumed I’d have to settle for over-sauced, fried specialty rolls (which, don't get me wrong, I also love), but SLSF completely nails the sushi experience.
Chef Leon is the absolute best. He’s so welcoming and incredibly talented, and his hospitality at the sushi bar alone keeps us coming back. Every piece of nigiri is perfectly crafted, and it’s clear how much pride he takes in his work. He so very generously let me try a piece of hoho-niku sashimi that I will think about literally for many months to come. My only wish would be that they did a fuller omakase offering on a daily basis, but I do believe they have some omakase events/nights.
The service is always super great, and even the non-seafood dishes are thoughtfully prepared and well done. My boyfriend loves the bolognese here, and the wedge is a total knockout.
If you can snag one of the four seats at the sushi bar, you’ll have the best experience possible.
MUST TRY the Chutoro Caviar, Toro Salmon, and Yellowtail Chili Crunch. I also love the Kamikaze and Spicy Lobster crunch roll but the nigiri here really is the star of the show.
Huge thanks to CHEF LEON and the entire SLSF team for bringing something so authentic and special to the Jersey Shore! The owners should be very proud of the team they've put together and the dishes they put out (as I am sure they are)!!
Note: I did ask the Sushi Chef his name so I could write this review and he wrote down Leon, but it actually might have been Chef Li based on their Instagram account* could of been autocorrect on my phone - either way the Sushi Chef ROCKS

Avoid getting the lobster roll. Not worth the $38 spent on it. The portion size is too small for this price point. The way it's plated doesn't do it any justice either, the portion size is exaggerated further by it lol

I’ve been here a few times and always leave disappointed in the food. Burger dry, sushi overly salty, etc.

Went there for the first time from a friend’s recommendation who loves this place and he was spot on the food was great. The sushi to desert were amazing. The flan was made perfect that’s a hard desert to make consistently.
