Made a reservation at spring lake seafood for date night. It has a cute nautical vibe. I could see them being insanely busy during the summer. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We got the tuna pizza - amazing. The sushi was so fresh. I also ordered the ricotta cavatelli - perfectly spicy. Ugh so good. If you're craving seafood, this is a definite place to try.

It is a spectacular restaurant, very warm atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. It's really worth repeating over and over again.

I’ve had multiple dinners here with family and my gf. We love the food, sushi is so good. It’s a great vibe and good spot to go when you want great food but don’t want to get super fancy dressed. Definitely be back soon!I’ve read some of the other reviews… seems like a lot of these people leaving bad reviews have eitherA. Never worked in the service industry orb. Are the kind of people who complain about EVERYTHING…

We visited Spring Lake Seafood with a group of 6 friends, this was the second time I dined there. The fish is absolutely fresh, most dishes were beautifully prepared, very creative. But a few of the people at our table didn’t care for their meals. The issue really was the service, especially considering the high prices (over $50 for our entrees). If you are going to charge those prices, the service should be commensurate. Our server was very good, but the dishes came out at different times, one person got her meal 10 minutes after everyone else, we had to ask for forks and knives and wait until they were provided. They wanted to take away all the dishes before everyone was finished. Too bad because if the service was top notch I would return.

For my entire life growing up, this was a great little brunch spot called Who's On Third. They had one of the best pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches in NJ. I was initially disappointed to learn it had gone out of business, and while I am sad to see it go, this new place ain't bad.Its totally different, though. Modern design, small portion menu, expensive. Everything is fresh and high quality, but definitely more pricey than the $3 breakfast sandwiches I used to get. I had a tuna steak, blackened on a roll, and it was seared perfectly outside and tasted delicious, but in the middle it was totally uncooked. I had asked for medium, what I got was rare. Still tasted fine, though, and I ate it without complaint. Still, not sure how often I'll go back there, outside of a special occasion. If you live in Spring Lake though or are at the shore and have a lot of money, this is a good place for some fancy fish!

Called to see if they had availability for 2 people while parked outside . The hostess said yes , we recommend in the future making a reservation.I walked in to be seated by the hostess and she said I don’t have any available tables.I asked why I was told there was availability .Hostess responded - I did say we recommend making a reservation.THIS is how they conduct business!!! Completely unprofessional, unacceptable and rude !!!! Never get my business.

First time here and it was a lovely surprise. We happened to stop in while on a walk because it started to rain. Boyfriend loved the oysters, said some of the best he's ever had. We also had the edamame and Bibb Salad, both very good. Our favorite was the Rose' Sangria, so delicious! We also had a nice treat when the owner came over to give us a taste of the next dessert special they will be featuring, it was a blueberry pie with such a delectable creamy sweet layer and perfect crust. Service was great and you can feel the passion from management. Perfect surprise Date Day!

There is one word that you want to connect to seafood and that is “FRESH”. SLS gets it right! This is my regular go to for FRESH, deliciously prepared seafood. The addition of sushi only added to my addiction. The salads are made with fresh green lettuce, nothing packaged or brown, dressings are light and tasty add to that some fresh seafood, Yummo! You might want to try the following:Crab cakes - moist delicious, mostly crab, as it SHOULD be.Whole fried fish - So fresh, flash fried without being oily, moist, delicately seasoned, perfect.Bronzino - What can I say, my fav, perfect ?Pasta All - Al dente, great LIGHT delicious sauces.SLS is the definition of eating healthy and delicious at the same time. Those that appreciate quality of ingredients, simplicity of preparation, inclusive of great seasoning and delicious results are going to enjoy dinner at this great local gift of a restaurant In beautiful Spring Lake. Delicioso!

It's not good business practice to call someone a spy or a liar in your response especially as the owner. I did make reservations to take my friend there for his birthday with a 2:30 reservation time. We walked in there wasn't anyone in there not 1 table which I thought was odd but it was towards the end of lunchtime so I thought ok but still odd. After we sat down our nice server got our drinks and then was about to take our order we were then informed by her that the restaurant was closing for a week for remodeling and she named the things you were out of and then stated we're using up what we've got which clearly wasn't a good sign to us. At that point we already got our drinks what we're we supposed to do just get up and walk out so we proceeded to put our order in. We were told the oysters were half price again because you needed to get rid of them before you closed up but honestly everything should have been half price! I looked at the pics of the lobster roll that's definitely not what we got. Clam chowder no clams watery broth with potatoes. There wasn't 1 chunk of lobster in a lobster roll only ingredient in there and it looked more like coleslaw couldn't even taste the lobster. . Same with lobster Mac and cheese no chunks just pasta. I believe you were out of lobster and still stayed open and we got the remnants of what you had left back there with everything certainly is what it seems. Not cool. You should have just closed a day early and not served food that wasn't up to standards for that price especially that cost me almost $200 and that's not including the tip. We left hungry and disappointed but at the time wouldn't have got into it the girl was so nice and it wasn't her fault. Food for thought before you go accusing a paying customer of making this up who was there for an important milestone birthday and this is what we will remember unfortunately about the occasion.Response to owner.Go back and read your response to my friend.Who do you work for and is this a plug for another restaurantso thats exactly what it implys that we weren't really there and were doing this on purpose which is ridiculous! Instead of taking responsibility your food was totally below standards for the price you're charging and right out of our servers mouth you were closing for the week and trying to get rid of food. You take no responsibility for it nor do you deny it so that says it all!You should be apologizing how unprofessional rude and childish go eat all you can eat salad and breadsticks. Let me tell you I'd recommend for people to eat at olive garden first it was way better then we got there. You don't mind paying $200 for a dinner if it's actually good!I wouldn't recommend anyone go there just for this inappropriate unprofessional attitude and response how you treat customers is appauling and I see if anyone says anything negative you attack them. What happened to the customer is always right? You clearly see we're telling the truth and your server Kiera was very sweet and very honest of the situation of you closing for a week and there wasn't much food left! Then you close but greed clearly gets the best of you and what your customers think means nothing to you and constructive criticism is all part of being in business and obviously you're not mature enough to handle it.. you will lose alot of local business this way. We all live in the area and will be making sure to let everyone know it. All you needed to do was apologize no rude and condescending comments and that would have been it and you doubled down for any potential new customers to see it. Nobody wants to give someone who acts like this their business no matter what the food is like. There's too many other better choices out there. I screen shot everything you said. Good luck.

Friends took me out for my birthday on Jan 28th. My portion of lobster mac n cheese was so small with hardly any lobster and with a very lackluster taste and at 32 dollars not cheap. All three of us were extremely disappointed in our meals and 2 of us felt like we wanted to go eat something else. My friend had the lobster roll with hardly any lobster on it. The bottom line is lackluster taste, small portions and way overpriced. I don't ever leave reviews, but you really need to do better than this.Because of that disappointment the three of us went to Bistro in Avon on Feb first and had about the same kind of food and it was absolutely fantastic and cheaper.Smart response back! I do not work for them It was my first time ever there. What response I would rather see would be, sorry you had a bad experience, I hate leaving bad reviews because I know it's your business, just giving my opinion with being at your place once.

Pricey but well with it. Large portions of Fresh Seafood are always a good thing. Food is really excellent It is BYOB but they do serve some wine and the Sangria is superb. Our server Brody was very attentive and engaging and made the meal even better. All in, a real North Jersy Coast line GEM.Parking: New Years Eve and I was able to park on the street directly in front.

Spring Lake Seafood is a wonderful addition to a beautiful town! The staff could not be more pleasant and informed. The atmosphere was lively, warm and modern.Food was exceptional. Started with a tuna roll and garlic shrimp. The tuna roll was elevated and on par to what I’ve had in Hawaii. The garlic shrimp were good size with a tomato based sauce and a touch of vinegar. Served with warm sour dough bread. Fabulous! Spaghetti white clam and rigatoni were exceptional as well. Loaded with seafood and homemade pasta the portions were huge. Everything came out piping hot. A California sparkling white at $40 was a perfect suggestion from our server. You can also BYOB. Pricing was fair for the quality and portion size. We can’t wait to go back!
