We ate on the patio and were thrilled to be able to bring our dog. It was busy but service was fine. Everyone liked their entrees and app. Great atmosphere for a summer night at the shore.
Ridiculously overpriced. We were shocked how much this place has changed in a year. Edit: I appreciate your response. We've been to your restaurant several times before, but never spent in the neighborhood of $170 for four people with one glass of alcohol between everyone. There was a credit card service fee in our bill before I gave any indication of how I'd be paying. And that service charge was much more than your processor Is likely charging. So it felt a bit much, to be honest. Your food is decent, but a bit much for pub fare. Thank you again for your response.
Excellent location for the annual Spring Lake Beach Independence Day Fireworks Show! Volcano Shrimp Flat Bread was awesome!
Three out of three items that we ordered from the menu were absolutely terrible on top of them taking a long time to be brought to the table. First was the mozzarella sticks. The breading on them was very thick and it tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in years in the fryer. Next, I ordered buffalo wings extra crispy after a very long wait they were delivered to my table, and not even a little bit crispy, let alone extra crispy. The final disappointment was the cheeseburger which I thought would be my only hope to actually leave with having eaten something. Unfortunately it was also subpar. The one was stale, and the cheese wasn't even melted management certainly did not seem to care that my entire meal was disastrous because they never visited the table. They did remove the items from my bill, but obviously there is no way on God‘s green earth that I would ever go back there to eat again
The main issue was how long it took to order and then get served. Food was fine, noise level was high, but good ambiance.
As a member of the Spring Lake Tap House Birthday Club you are cordially invited to enjoy an entree for your birthday. The Whiskey Glazed Flat Iron Steak was delicious! The mashed potatoes were creamy and the broccoli was crispy! I would certainly return to enjoy this meal again!
We had a very nice lunch at the Spring Lake Tap House. After a morning in the beach we headed to the tap house. It was warm day and we sat outside which was a bit tough especially for the staff. It was also very busy which had the servers stretched but they handled it well. Overall good food and easy atmosphere.
The food was vey good and a nice selection of local beers. Ordered my burger medium rare and it came out just as it should. We will be beack.
The food and service were excellent. Our waiter Cole was very attentive and nice. The restaraunt was loud, which is not a knock at all. It is a sports restaurant and bar and there was both a Knicks game and Yankees game on. Yankees lost. Not sure how the Knicks did. I would highly recommend The Tap House for family and friends night out. Probably not a good place for a first date. 😀
I was pleasantly surprised by how good our food was. However, that was overshadowed by the poor service of our waitress. She spent more time on her phone than looking after any of her tables. We had to flag her down to get minor requests which was very disappointing.

Great pub, food, and a cozy neighborhood bar. Our favorites include the hummus plate and the turkey burger. Everything is reasonably priced, which is saying something because the Jersey Shore has gotten out of control pricewise in the Restaurant business.
It was my first time at this restaurant and it was great. Our server was very attentive and the food was great. Try the burgers and add-ons!!! I will definitely be back and I will bring family and friends along.
The GM resolved the below situation and we got to eat at this restaurant.
We went on Sunday the 15th and 1000 percent better experience, than getting the gift card. Kyle B. Was exceptional with his service and the Bingo was fun. Their pizza was better than Pete & Elda's that everyone thinks is so great. Pancake Board was a great idea and good. We want to come back to try the burgers
Original issue that was resolved:
We went there on Sunday night, to buy a gift card for someone and on their website, it says buy a $100, get 25% off. They would not honor it, with some bull about that being only for black friday weekend, but we site does not say tha[t. I do not business with dishonest companies. I will never buy another gift card or go back to the restaurant.

I want to start this off by saying, I have always loved the spring lake tap house. Have been a patron for years since early on throughout high school. Music, food, and ambience is on POINT. They have even Dmed my friends and I about exclusive open bar and have really incentivized my patronage. However, I unfortunately had a bad experience with a bartender last time I went and cannot bring myself to go back. Without name dropping or going too much in detail I had ordered a few drinks while out with my friends just having a good time. After showing my ID to get in I was asked again at the bar and had no issue showing it a second time because maybe she thought I was younger. Next time I went up I was refused service without any explanation. This woman would not give me the time of day and honestly I boiled it down to she was having an off night. Was pretty upset but I had no issue with any other staff they were so nice and welcoming and continued to serve me. Bouncers we’re awesome and DJ was epic though definitely a fun spot for a wedding after-party or a girls night. Wish I could leave a 5 star :(

We had an awful experience. They were out of an item we tried to order, we had to send back a drink that was bad, they lost our order and didn't realize it till we asked about our food (tables that came in after us got to the point of receiving their food, eating it and leaving and our server didn't seem to notice we were still sitting there with nothing), then our orders were wrong when they finally came out. Our server was apologetic but didn't offer to comp anything (I mean at this point, throw in a few dessert or appetizer since we'd been waiting so long!). We won't be going back again.
