St. Stephen's Green Publick House

We wanted to re-experience our trip to Ireland. St Stephan's gave us that experience. The wait staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was spot on.

Fresh Guinness! Keep expectations to Irish Pub and you will be more than happy. It's casual so dining in shorts and a tee shirt is fine. It is more lively at the bar area and the dining room is comfortable. The Irish Pub Fare is higher quality than most pubs. Sandwiches are a great choice and the onion soup. You can also get a good steak, salmon and salads. Make a reservation!

We had such a wonderful experience at St Stephen's Green Publick House. We all loved the ambience - felt like a true Irish Pub. The service was friendly and perfect and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be adding St Stephen's to our dining rotation list!

Food was classic irish, but no wow factor. They were clearly understaffed, we would have drank more but our server never checked on us, we had to wave him down.

Just a great pub-really exceptional food and service. It doesn't get any better, especially on Tuesday evenings when the traditional Irish session happens. The salmon entree, braised in cider, was really delicious. The burger special was really really good-cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go back

loved this restaurant. it was our first visit and enjoyed our time there. cobb salad was delicious and my husband's burger was perfect our waitress Rachel was also very professional and friendly the busboys were also very friendly and professional as well. overall great experience

Our server was quite rushed. She never introduced herself but jumped right into taking our order. The restaurant itself was quite dirty. Food on the floor in the dining room and on the way out. The table next to us sat uncleared for a while. It is only the beginning of the summer! You better get it together.

Love this place. Since moving to the shore, was looking for a place we can call our usual handout. Great food and an Irish Coffee done right. Service is good, with authentic Irish food.

We made a reservation for 2 at 5:15. They seated us at a table crammed in the corner between the fireplace and wall. When we expressed our concern and requested a different table we were told no even though there were many open tables available. We left.

All at my table thought our sandwiches were delicious. One person did not like the sweetness of the sweet potato fries. My public house fries were perfect. I had the carrot cake. Not good. It didn't have much taste and was on the old side. It was hard to have a conversation because there was a large table behind us that were loud and echoing. After they left it was much better. Our server Valerie was teriffic!

Always enjoy St. Stephen's Green as the food is consistently good, ample portions and reasonably priced. My husband mixes things up each time we dine there however I go for the Essex & Sussex salad 90% of our visits. Although I always enjoy this salad, it was exceptional on Friday night. Kudos to the chef/garde manger that prepared it! My husband ordered the turkey club, no complaints. Unfortunately, we did not indulge in sweet potato fries this time. They are not to be missed.

Great food, drinks, service, ambiance and prices. Dessert too was delicious. I had the Half & Half. (Corned beef/pastrimi sandwich on a roll w cheddar cheese). Third time in a row I had this. Highly recommend it!

Excellent service & good food. It can be very loud when there are larger groups like tonight. Very loud talkers & acoustics are horrible. We'll avoid weekends in the future because it's such a nice restaurant with great servers.

Great food, strong drinks, tasty Guiness, service is very friendly, great atmosphere. I had the half and half sandwich- clcor ed beef/pastrami! So good!

If you want authentic Irish, this is your place. I had the Irish Breakfast and I got two full meals out of it. A bushmills on the rocks made it a perfect evening.
