Always enjoy St. Stephen's Green as the food is consistently good, ample portions and reasonably priced. My husband mixes things up each time we dine there however I go for the Essex & Sussex salad 90% of our visits. Although I always enjoy this salad, it was exceptional on Friday night. Kudos to the chef/garde manger that prepared it! My husband ordered the turkey club, no complaints. Unfortunately, we did not indulge in sweet potato fries this time. They are not to be missed.

Great food, drinks, service, ambiance and prices. Dessert too was delicious. I had the Half & Half. (Corned beef/pastrimi sandwich on a roll w cheddar cheese). Third time in a row I had this. Highly recommend it!

Excellent service & good food. It can be very loud when there are larger groups like tonight. Very loud talkers & acoustics are horrible. We'll avoid weekends in the future because it's such a nice restaurant with great servers.

If you want authentic Irish, this is your place. I had the Irish Breakfast and I got two full meals out of it. A bushmills on the rocks made it a perfect evening.

Nice atmosphere with all the fireplaces and seasonal decorations. Good food. The corned beef is tasty but shouldn't be served as a sandwhich because it's chewy. An opened face sandwhich would work better. The drain flies were a constant nuisance. I'm sure if they change their mops it would fix the problem and help reduce the musty smell too. Second time I ordered wine with lipstick on the glass. I may not ever order wine there again as it's a regular occurrence. A little more attention to detail and this place could be great. Next time I get a glass with lipstick on it i will post a pic. Along with the drain flies. Let's see if they address these issues.

Wow. Just got back from here and what. an. experience. First of all, we order two draft beers and were told that the draft beer "isn't working". Order two wines. One wine is not the wine we ordered. The wine we originally received was sent back and the correct wine delivered to the table. Food was fine. Waitress never checked on us, so we had to wait until our meals were just about gone before we were able to request ketchup for our fries. Then the real fiasco began. Ask for the check and it was delivered. We're charged for the wine we didn't order AND the correct wine. We wait 10 minutes for the waitress to come back and I ask for that to be removed. 5+ minutes later, the waitress brings the check again. I hand her money and ask for change. 5+ minutes later, she brings me change and tells me she "had to go all over the universe for change" (it was $28 change, for the record). When I open the booklet, I find that she has brought me the incorrect change, shorting me $7. I wait another solid 5+ minutes to tell her, but she doesn't come back. I ask ANOTHER server for a manager. A few minutes later, the waitress comes back again to ask what's wrong. I tell her she brought the incorrect change and she grabs the booklet with the original change and takes it away. ANOTHER 5+ minutes goes by and she re-emerges to hand me the new change (less 25 cents - whatever) and apologizes by telling me she's bad at math and asking what the original change amount she gave me was (She literally took the original change away, so...). The waiter I asked for a manager stopped back and asked if the manager came out. I told him she didn't and he said he specifically asked her to come out. Oh, well. Why bother with customer service at that point?!? Had I not spent more than half an hour dealing with issues on my check, I probably wouldn't have been angry enough to write this review, but unlike my waitress, I follow up on things. Very, very less than pleased with the restaurant. Do better.
