It has been exactly one year since our wedding day and it seems just like yesterday. The Mill is/was an amazing experience. From the picturesque location, to the delicious food, and to the so very supportive and professional staff....every detail was a moment to cherish. We so appreciate everything that helped make our special day that much more special. We hope to visit again one day soon

My husband and I got married at The Mill on April 26, 2025 and it was the best day of our lives which was largely due to the staff at The Mill and everything they have to offer. From the first day we toured the venue, to all the days leading up to the wedding day, Sue and her team were extremely attentive and responsive, as well as proactive in making sure we were on track with our wedding planning. In addition to the service leading up to the wedding, The Mill provides an incredible amount of decor (if you choose to use it) that alleviates so much stress out of the wedding planning process. From welcome signs to centerpieces, everything was more beautiful than I could have picked out myself. The wedding day itself was nothing short of perfect. Everyone at The Mill goes above and beyond to make sure the ceremony and celebration are exceptional. Tyler and his team ran the day so that we didn’t have to think about a thing. Not only were they extremely attentive to me and my husband (making sure we had all the food and drinks we wanted and that everything kept to the schedule we agreed to), but they were specifically attentive to both our parents which made them feel special as well. The guests could not stop raving about the food at the cocktail hour, the spread that The Mill puts out is insane and delicious. It is worth mentioning that it absolutely poured on our wedding day, meaning we couldn’t have the ceremony outside as planned, however, Sue and Tyler were on top of it and we ended up having the most perfect indoor ceremony. We weren’t even thinking about the weather, that’s how amazing everything was. Bottom line - Sue and Tyler and the entire team at The Mill are the best in the industry and we cannot recommend The Mill enough!!

Our wedding was at The Mill on 4/5/25 and it truly was the most perfect day. From the moment my husband and I left our initial tour of The Mill, we just knew this was our wedding venue and I’m so thrilled to say we couldn’t have made a better decision.The Mill is absolutely gorgeous on its own but what makes it extra special is truly the staff and level of service they provide. We felt like royalty on our day as did the rest of our friends and family. We’re still receiving compliments about how incredible the staff was along with the amazing food and drinks. A few people especially worth mentioning: our coordinator, Racquel, who was with us every step of the way and incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. Our maitre d, Tyler, who kept the day running so smoothly and catered to our every want and need. He should really run a masterclass on how to be a maitre d. And last but not least, my bridal attendant, Angela, who was a complete ROCKSTAR. Never without a smile on her face, she brought such an amazing attitude to the day and was constantly making sure my husband and I were taken care of. There wasn’t a second we were left wanting and the people at The Mill made us feel so special. There’s a million more amazing things I could say but just know, choosing The Mill for your big day will never be a bad decision. We can’t thank them enough!

Unforgettable Wedding Experience at The Mill Lakeside Manor!

From the moment we began planning our special day to the final dance of the evening, our experience at The Mill exceeded every expectation we could have imagined. We cannot thank the incredible team, who made our wedding absolutely perfect, enough.

Chris welcomed us from our very first site visits with warmth and expertise, guiding us through every decision with patience and genuine care. His attention to detail and ability to understand exactly what we envisioned for our celebration was remarkable.

Tyler's coordination on the wedding day itself was nothing short of masterful. From orchestrating the precise timing of the ceremony to ensuring the reception flowed seamlessly, he maintained a calm, reassuring presence that allowed us to be fully present in every moment. When an unexpected rain shower threatened our outdoor ceremony, Tyler personally went out to the garden ensuring everything was dry once it passed!

Angela's service throughout the reception deserves special recognition. She had a sixth sense for exactly when we needed something—a fresh drink appeared at the perfect time, running next to the bride to escape the rain during pictures, and somehow managed to make sure we actually ate the incredible food! Her genuine enthusiasm for our happiness made us feel like we were being cared for by family.

And Erica—where do I even begin? Her flawless management of the catering team resulted in dining service that our guests are still raving about!

The entire team at The Mill anticipated our needs before they arose. From making sure our flower girls had chicken fingers before they walked down the aisle to Angela appearing with shout wipes and club soda to get grass stains out of the train of my dress. Our wedding day could have been stressful—instead, it was pure joy from start to finish.

After visiting the Mill Lakeside Manor with my husband, daughter, and her fiancé, no other venue we considered compared to their presentation or what they offered. The venue is exquisite, both inside and out. It turned out, they exceeded our expectations.

My personal feeling is there are really two things people remember most about a wedding reception... food and music. The cocktail hour was unforgettable and over the top! Dinner was superb... perfectly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. The signature drinks, chosen by the bride and groom were very popular. The bartender is a master! And the band we chose was, hands-down, the best (Joe Baracata Band)! We danced all night! So there was lots of praise about all of that from our guests. But we heard just as many wonderful comments about the staff and the service!

We had several guests, family and friends, who are presently or were in the restaurant business. On man worked in high-level positions at NYC's Windows on the World, the Waldorf Astoria, and the Rainbow Room. He's seen it all. He, along with the other restaurateurs, were extremely impressed with everything at the Mill Lakeside Manor, especially the service. The wait-staff is nothing short of fabulous! They are totally unobtrusive, and yet, always right there for all of your guests. Those with allergies are served first and with great care. Otherwise, everyone at each table is served at the same time with perfect precision. And just when you think you're done with your dinner, they arrive with seconds in hand for anyone who can still eat another bite!

Every staff member at MLM is professional. They not only execute their duties with ease and perfection, they clearly love their work and it shows. Their smiles, friendliness and warmth will never be forgotten. I wish I knew the names of everybody at the Mill Lakeside Manor. They all go above and beyond. The staff I spoke with the most were Susan (our coordinator), Tyler (our maître d'), Raquel, Christopher, Marissa, Devon, Angela, and Carolyn. We thank everyone at MLM, especially Susan and Tyler, who handled the event from beginning to end. You all made the day very special and memorable for my daughter, son-in-law, my husband, me, and our guests. If we had one wish, it would be to do it all again!

Excellent food and service! Was at a family wedding there & so much food choices at the cocktail hour that you get full before the reception, which also had delicious food.

We had the most amazing experience for my son’s wedding! The food and service exceeded our expectations! Could not ask for a better maitre d Tyler and wedding coordinator Christopher. Very excited to have my daughter’s wedding next year at their sister property!

Having our wedding at The Mill was the best decision we made. They have incredible communication, answer in a timely manner and were beyond helpful with planning. Our coordinator, Christopher, went above and beyond for us. From the first time we met him, he knew our contract and choices from front to back. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire staff at The Mill, especially Christopher, Tyler (Maitre’d), Marianne (assistant Maitre’d) and Julia (bridal attendant) made us feel so special & taken care of, and they were by our side the entire time we were on the property. One of my co-workers told me she was beyond impressed by the service at The Mill & that she has never seen staff at a wedding as professional and attentive as at The Mill. The food and drinks were incredible, and all of our guests are raving that it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. You will not be disappointed if you book your wedding here!!!!

Everything was excellent. Food and service first class. Only problem with the low ceiling, DJ didn't know how to regulate amps and speakers. No fault of the venue.

The wedding planning process was incredibly seamless. Christopher, Tyler and the entire team at The Mill went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and their professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference. There were a few stress moments (changing of wedding coordinators and new construction at the venue) that were handled seamlessly and we never felt like we weren’t being communicated with. Emails were answered promptly and with full details for whatever question arose. We never felt stressed or overwhelmed—everything was organized and well-thought-out, allowing us to fully enjoy the excitement leading up to the big day.

On the wedding day itself, we truly had zero stress. The staff was on top of every detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about a thing. Our reception was flawless, and the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. My husband and I even shared a sweet moment just prior to leaving for the evening that a bartender, who was busy cleaning the bar, was able to capture on their phone and sent the picture to my husband. It’s the little things like this that make you see how above and beyond the staff goes for you. And to top is off, the views, the ambiance, and the overall vibe made our day feel even more special than we could have imagined. We truly felt like royalty.

We couldn’t be more grateful for The Mill Lakeside Manor and their incredible team for helping to create a day we will cherish forever. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stress-free, unforgettable wedding experience!

From the moment we drove up to The Mill Lakeside Manor, we knew immediately that this place was the one (we toured MANY venues and none of them made our jaws drop like The Mill). The space was absolutely gorgeous, the actual lake WITH swans was just the topping on the cake. The staff was beyond helpful, HUGE SHOUTOUT to Chris & Tyler, for giving us their all! They made everything so easy that we almost felt like we were cheating at wedding planning, which my anxiety during the entire process needed.

Not only did the venue look stunning, but it also had just the right amount of charm and warmth, people said they wish their house looked like this place. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the entire property was and MOST importantly, how GREAT the food was! Nobody left hungry that night, they kept thinking the food was done and then BOOM desserts ON THE DANCE FLOOR!!

If you want a place that combines beauty, incredible service, and just the right amount of fun energy, this is it. Our day was magical, and we can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day so unforgettable!

P.S. If any couples need to make their minimum count, LET US KNOW! We would love to attend a wedding here AGAIN and AGAIN!!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

The venue itself is elegant, with breathtaking views that set a perfect backdrop for our big day - the stunning November weather helped, as well - New Jersey was truly showing off! The atmosphere was both sophisticated and inviting, which made it the perfect setting for our guests to feel both elegant and comfortable - like having our cocktail hour in our living room with our closest friends and family! The combination of the stunning lakeside location and the beautifully designed space made everything feel magical. The 360 bar also allowed for guests to quickly get their drinks to compliment the various cocktail hour stations!

The food was another highlight. The cocktail hour spread was more than we could have ever imagined—an abundance of delicious options that kept our guests satisfied all night long. The variety ensured there was something for everyone, and the presentation was flawless. In addition to the absolutely breathtaking cocktail hour, all of the entrees were so delicious and people are still talking about all of the food at our wedding. It was hard to make room for dessert but everyone managed to enjoy a few cannolis and cookies!

What stood out the most was the incredible service we received throughout the entire planning process and especially on the day of the wedding. Christopher was absolutely amazing and made us feel so special and comfortable - like working with a friend from the start; he was attentive and responsive and was there for us every step of the way! Tyler and the entire staff had a can-do attitude and were attentive to every detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and giving our guests one of the best nights of their life (and certainly made sure we have the best night of our lives)! They made us feel like we were the only couple in the world, and their support truly made the day stress-free.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The gorgeous views, the elegant atmosphere, the delicious food, the attention to detail and the top-notch service made our wedding day unforgettable! We had our wedding at The Mill in February 2021. At first, my husband and I were planning on postponing to next year due to COVID but we decided to just go for it! We were SO HAPPY we did! Literally everything about this place is perfect- the food, the decor, the views, the ambiance, and the workers. It was top notch! Guests are still raving about the food. There was something for everyone and sooo much food! We had an ice cream bar and hangover station which were great additions! Taylor and Jackie were so helpful and kept me sane while planning through COVID and answered all my calls and emails lol. Richard the Maitre D was excellent. They turned my dream wedding into a reality. I wish I was able to do it all again!!! We LOVE the Mill!! Thank you to everyone <3

Update:
We just went to the White Swan Gala which is held for all past wedding couples and it was fantastic! We were able to enjoy every aspect of our wedding again!! There was cocktail hour, DJ and dancing, photobooth, cocktails, and of course the amazing entrees! We can’t wait for the next event!

If you're considering booking your wedding here, don't think about it just do it!!! I'm convinced our wedding was the most perfect day because of this venue. Kristin, Tyler, Julia and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and truly treated like royalty the entire day. My family cannot stop talking about the top notch service and our guests are still talking about the food 2 months later! I am begging everyone I know to get married here just so I can attend again. You will not be disappointed if you have your wedding here!

We just had our son’s wedding at the Mill this past Saturday. Spectacular does not do enough to describe our day! It was beyond our wildest expectations. We had about 200 people and everything was perfect. The food was abundant and absolutely delicious. The service, impeccable and attentive. I had someone check in with me all evening to make sure I did not need anything. Our wedding coordinators, Christopher and Raquel were wonderful and covered every detail that we had not even thought of. Tyler, our maitre d’, was incredibly impressive. At our final details meeting, he told us that we were not to worry about a thing, that was his job! I had no idea that the maitre d’ ran the entire day. It went off without a hitch and was truly spectacular. He was right, there was nothing for us to worry about. The Mill did not disappoint in any way, and I would highly recommend it for your wedding.
