We frequent this place a lot as the food is always great and a decent value. I was disappointed in service last night at 6PM. Seems only one server and what seemed to be a “ manager” type person was trying to help but he was obviously new. I know it tough to get help and maybe a no show or someone fell ill. I'm was going to bring 2 other couples to try this place and glad I did not. When Frankie was there, he knew the business. Not sure when and if I will return. I go at least 12 times a year.

Apps were excellent, steak missed the mark. Nice staff. Food looks way better in the photos. Place is strange as it's connected to a motel...

We recently enjoyed a truly special evening in Spring Lake, starting with an outstanding production of Annie. Every cast member delivered a heartfelt, professional performance that lit up the stage. The theatre itself was filled with families, all clearly enjoying the experience together, which made the atmosphere even more vibrant and warm. The staff at the theatre were wonderfully helpful and accommodating, making the entire event feel seamless and welcoming.

Prior to the show, we headed to the Sea Crest Grille at the elegant Shore Club, where the evening continued to impress. On arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of sangria in the beautiful entrance hall—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the meal.

The roast lamb was a clear favorite, cooked to perfection—tender, full of flavor, and served with roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a rich, delicious gravy. The skirt steak was just as memorable, cooked exactly as requested and paired with light, fluffy mashed potatoes served piping hot. The salmon was equally exceptional, with a perfectly sized portion, flakey yet firm, and accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes prepared to perfection.

The staff at the restaurant were warm, attentive, and made the dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

All together, it was a wonderful night of great food, outstanding entertainment, and kind, thoughtful service—an evening worth remembering.

Very good food but service was uneven....probably because they were closing the next day, for a 3-week renovation.

If I could give it 0 I would. The manager on duty smelled of booze and we waited 30 minutes and never even got drinks. We were the only people there.

Sea Crest Grille is an absolute treasure! The lobster roll is easily one of the best deals around—two generously stuffed rolls for just $24. The lobster was incredibly tender, fresh, and full of flavor, perfectly complemented by the lightly toasted buns. It’s rare to find such quality and quantity at that price. The lobster bisque was equally impressive—rich, creamy, and loaded with huge chunks of lobster in every spoonful. You can tell this place doesn’t cut corners when it comes to seafood.

The shrimp di Angelo was another standout. It had bold, savory flavors and just the right touch of spice. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the dish was beautifully balanced. Every bite tasted like it was made with care and top-notch ingredients. From start to finish, the meal was fantastic. With delicious food, generous portions, and great quality, Sea Crest Grille is a must-visit, especially for seafood lovers like myself!

A wide variety of very good food options. The nightly, combo menus are a true bargain. A hidden gem among the otherwise crowded shore restaurant scene.

Out waitress was amazing, but she was all by herself. The cocktails were sub par the bar tender did not know how to make an old fashion. Food was decent but the lobster was over cooked and rubbery. I would be willing to try again but there are better places to eat at in the area.

This was the first time we had been to The Sea Crest Grille. It was our wedding anniversary so we were hoping for something a little special. The pictures on the website made the dining area look inviting, but it wasn't ... it was quite spartan, the acousitcs were not good, and there was just no atmosphere. The service was less than average ... we got seated and were given water, and then it was at least 5 minutes until the server came to take our drinks order, and then another 5 minutes until they arrived. And the place wasn't even busy! Fortunately, the food was very good - my husband had the mussels followed by a burger, and I had the tuna tartare followed by the grilled octopus (which was huge even though it was an appetizer!). They did not have the bottle of wine we chose, but they suggested something similar which I assume was similarly priced. So the food saved our evening from being a total let-down, but I am sad to say that I would not be in a rush to recommend it.

My husband and I had a reservation for a Saturday evening at 6:15, we both had delicious food. He had the crab cake appetizer and I had the yummy beat salad, he had the sea bass entree with creamy spinach side, I had the branzino. We both had cappuccino with cheese cake as our dessert. From start to finish everything was delicious!!!

What a hidden treasure! Enjoyed the grilled octopus and lobster rolls, both prepared perfectly. Outstanding service provided by Marguerite.

Shore Club is trying very hard to get customers. The problem is the food. Our food was completely lacking in flavor. One person had filet mignon. It was perfectly cooked but tasted like no seasoning at all had been used. The other person had pasta with shrimp. Again, absolutely bland. Please get a new chef! We want you to succeed!

Everything about our dining experience was A+. I would totally recommend the Sea Crest Grille.
