This was my first visit here, the food was excellent! cannot say the same for the service, I cannot even blame the server, they were just under staffed in the dining room. It was not even a full restaurant so you can't say it was to busy. very disappointing.

They have very good steaks and a nice selection of wines. My wife and I have been back several times. Be sure to order the thick bacon as an appetizer!

The food was excellent and the service was very good this was the place where we got married 12 years ago. I love it back then and still feel the same way today.

Drinks were great. Service was exceptionally slow. We had around of drinks, followed by appetizers and then entrees and it took 2.5 hours. It wasn't busy but staff were disorganized and clearly distracted. Food was ok, ambience was nice. Adding mocktails on the menu would a good idea. We wanted dessert but didn't think the waitstaff could handle it. Dessert menu looked as though it had some solid options.

Great food, drinks, service, ambiance. Staff was very friendly. I had the rack of lamb, my wife had a burger and we shared the mango avocado salad. We'll be back

I really wanted to love it. The valentine decorations were beautiful and I had really high hopes. Service for a Sunday night was super slow. The bar was backed up and it took about 25 minutes to get a drink, which was fine until I saw the bill. We each had a non alcoholic “mocktail” and they charged us $16 each and it was just seltzer and raspberries! Sorry, but that's ridiculous! We ordered the mussels and the lobster bisque as our appetizers. The bisque we good, but the mussels came out lukewarm so it kind of ruined it. I had the lobster risotto and he had the lamb chops. The lobster was dried out and it was more like rice than risotto. It wasn't creamy at all. His lamb chops were ok and the potato wedges were pretty tasty. When the bill came I questioned the waiter because we were charged full price for the risotto ( it's supposed to be half price risotto and pasta on Sundays). The waiter apologized and said he would be back with the updated bill... my fiancé paid it and we left. When I got home and looked at the receipt, the charge was never adjusted. He just gave us back the same bill with the full priced risotto. I feel totally ripped off. We will definitely not go back.

Pasta was cold, restaurant was out of filet and chicken, found a wire and hair in our food. Our table was littered with plates and glasses as no bus boy cleaned up after the courses. For the price point, this restaurant really needs to up its game. If it weren't for the Vday decorations I would give 1 star.

We wanted a holiday themed and decorated restaurant and heard about this place last year, but the reviews were always mixed. Made a reservation and checked out the hideaway to see all the decorations-- super crowded and the heat was blasting. We learned you couldn't get dinner there from the bartender, just small plates so we kept our reservation. Upon walking in, there was no host anywhere to be seen. We walked in more and a server said they would get someone for us. She seated us in the back corner away from everyone but it was way too dark there and no working lamps. She moved our seats. We waited for a while and no one came over. In the 15 minutes it took for the hostess to come over and give us water, I noticed the serving staff complaining to each other and clearly pissed off. We tried to be understanding and patient. The hostess poured our water and literally put a drop in, come on who drinks that little water we had to either ask for more or have a pitcher left at our table. Again, I saw the hostess with a woman, a server and the male server by the kitchen door clearly complaining to each other about something. To me it was just really unprofessional. Another 10 minutes or so go goes by and the server comes over to us and we're ready to order - we asked for the steak and they were out of it. It's 5:00! Just so many things going wrong before we even were able to order our drinks. Clearly they are short staffed and unhappy. A lot of things went wrong in our experience, we left and went somewhere else. The server didn't even seem surprised when we said we were leaving... That in itself says it all. 1/5 rating is even generous

I recently dined at Seacrest Grill in Spring Lake Heights, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The hostesses greeted us with warm smiles, and the atmosphere was so inviting—it felt like the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal.

The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection. The seasonal decorations added a beautiful touch, creating a cozy and festive ambiance. You can tell a lot of thought goes into every detail, from the decor to the service.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend Seacrest Grill to anyone looking for fantastic food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service!

Food was great, Christmas decorations were amazing but the service was a disgrace!! I went with my girlfriend, her daughter and her husband. After 20 minutes we had to ask for a waiter, he came and asked if we wanted water. It took another 20 minutes for him to come with it. At that point we gave him our drink and food order. Her daughter and I ordered lamb and he brought one lamb and a steak which I ate anyway because it took over an hour for the waiter to show up to take our order and the mashed potatoes we ordered was cold. Then he didn't come back. No checking on us, no coffee or dessert, no extra drinks. Gone. We almost walked out. Then we found a manager and he was gracious to discount our meal.

Today we had a chance to visit Santa's Hide Away in Spring Lake! We had the most delicious dinner in one of New Jersey's most festive holiday restaurants. The attention to detail and all the decor made this a fantastic dining experience. Our holiday drinks were superb! The spicy honey margarita and tiramisu martini were excellent. Our apps were 10/10 and we loved our entrees! We drove over an hour away to come visit and it was worth the drive! We will be back
