My family had been getting cakes here for as long as I can remember. The cake is so moist and the icing to die for. This bakery has something for everybody oh you want chicken cutlets or homemade soup guess what they got it. 10/10

I recently ordered a custom cake from Big Apple Bakery for my daughter Lily’s baptism, and it came out absolutely amazing. The design featured a beautiful cross, and the strawberry chocolate filling was out of this world. Not only did it look incredible, but it tasted even better!

We ordered a cake for about 30 people, and they went above and beyond — the portion was generous, and everyone got to take some home. That’s the sign of a true bakery that cares about its customers.

The staff and owners, Joe and his family, are some of the kindest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet. They make the entire experience personal and special from start to finish. It’s local businesses like this that make a real difference — hardworking families putting love and care into everything they do.

We also had 6 pounds of cookies and another cake for my father-in-law’s retirement. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. Even five days later, the cookies were still soft and tasted freshly baked — that’s unheard of!

Their communication was top-notch, too. They confirmed everything ahead of time, called us when the order was ready, and made pickup super easy.

The friendliest staff and the most delicious homemade desserts, soups, sauces & food.
Can’t even mention a favorite dessert, there are so many but I will say that the plumpest jelly donuts are amazing, the keylime pie is the best I’ve had anywhere, the chocolate ganache cake is to die for, I could go on but just take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the absolute BEST bakery around! Not only are their cakes absolutely beautiful, but they are SO TASTY! We LOVE the chocolate ganache and the chocolate with raspberry filling. The BAB has made cakes for all the most important days in our family and I look forward to ordering my baby’s 1st birthday cake from them. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. I would recommend the Big Apple Bakery to anyone!

We tried the tiramisu and boy was it bad. Sour to the point of being inedible. Reached out to the store the next day and was assured it was fresh and that is just how they make them. Seems they substitute cream cheese for the mascarpone, making it far more tart and resulting in an unpleasant, overwhelming sour flavor. No offer to replace it or refund it. Very disappointing.

I guess that would have been helpful if it was stated when we called to inquire why it was sour or if it had spoiled. Do those questions sound like we were happy with it?

This is why reviews exist. You make a product that I found distasteful and not within the realm of what that product should taste like. I’m sharing my opinion of that product in case others wish to avoid the same thing.

My wife got me a birthday cake from here and it was extremely underwhelming. More icing than cake and the cake was dried out. Almost tasted like something you would get next door at Acme.

Believe it or not I am not related to the owner - just happen to have the same last name. My daughter ordered pastries and cookies for her wedding last week. Everything was fresh and delicious as well as on time delivery to the wedding venue. Staff was very helpful in planning the amount of everything needed. I highly recommend Big Apple Bakery for all your bakery needs.

The crumb buns got smaller and the cheese puffs don't have as much cheese as last year.
