My wife and I have been dining at Brazzis for many of the past 20 years. We have however been patronizing other local restaurants lately and have not been back in over a year. During that time we have heard from very good friends that they had bad experiences with the food when they were there and wouldnt be returning. Since we always enjoyed the food and service we decided the other night to go have dinner and judge for ouselves. We arrived just a little past five on a Thursday. To our surprise we were the only ones there. I even joked to the waitress and asked if we beat the chef in! Having been there so many times I knew what I wanted before even getting there. The Margarita Pizzete(so paper thin, crispy and delisious, was first up followed by a cup of Pasta Fagioli. Their Pork Chops were always fabtastic. So thick and juicy to the last bite. So good that one of my brothers would drive from Ortley Beach just for that. Pasta Fagioli also one of the best I ever had. So good that I managed to copy the recipe close enough to satisfy me. The Pork Chops come with sausage(hot or sweet),peppers, onions and potatoes. I asked for both hot and sweet sausage. My wife ordered her favorite, Rigatoni Palermo and it was as good as it always was she said. The Focaccia bread they put on the table is always excellent as well. Now comes the reason for my only three stars review. The Pork "Chops", plural as it says on the menu, was only one very thin and very dry tasteless chop! The potatoes were also very dry and bigger than the two very small pieces of sausage that I barely recgnized as sausage mixed in with everything else on the plate. Both of the two mouth size pieces of sausage were sweet and not both as I requested. As the waitress was clearing our table we asked "where is everyone"? Even in the off season this place always did very well and during the summer was usaully packed evry night. She commented that it just hasnt been the same lately.Once I had expressed by displeasure with my dinner to her she acknowleged that it use to be two chops. I prefer one anyhow just as long it is double cut, juicy, hot and tasty to the end. It was now after six and as we were leaving we realized that we were still the only two people there besides the employees. One of the owners was behind the counter, not busy, and never even loked up and said thank you, Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays or even good night as we walked right past him. Maybe thats why we were the only two there! If he had asked how was everything tonight I probably would have told him but since he didnt seem interested I decided to write this in hopes he sees my good and not so good comments. In the past the two brothers made you feel like you were dining in Italy! Guess our friends were some what accurate with their experiences. As a side note, the following evening we went to Sunset Seafood in Tuckerton, one of our favorites, and had one of the best if not The Best Pork Chop ever!

My family and I have been visiting this place for many years now, and we wanted to express our appreciation for the wonderful atmosphere, exceptional service, and most importantly, the food. If I could, I would give it a perfect 10 stars!

Our family used to adore this place!! Unfortunately after this summer we can no longer say we do. The servers were speaking inappropriately and doing hair in the seating area as we were eating. One was on the phone the entire time we ate talking very loud about a doctor appointment or something. Very sad as the food also has gone down hill in the past few years.

With Michael Bublé playing softly in the restaurant who can ask for a more relaxing dining atmosphere. Give me the chills!! You'll want to sing along! Me & Mrs. Jones... HOME.. Fever.. Cry me a River.. Moondance... so lovely!

My inclination is to try about 20 things here as this is the real deal.

Cheryl is my server tonight. Glad she and I met- such a kind and considerate server!

Soft Garlic/tomato Foccacia and peppered olive oglio start the meal.

My meal came from the kitchen within 10 minutes:

Mussels Marinara with white wine sauce along with escarole & beans. Phenomenal. The escarole/beans were piping hot in a deliciously lightly seasoned tomato based broth perfectly cooked with fresh sliced garlic and tiny sweet onions.

The Mussels were equally mesmerizing. Beautiful plump mussels in delicate wine sauce with lemon & parsley and a touch of garlic. Dipping juice broth is plentiful and 20+ mussels: just what the doctor ordered!

Try the tiramisu and fresh canolis, and espresso for dessert!!

I'll be back regularly to try other of my GO-TO Italian specialty menu selections, especially the pork chops that I overheard more than just one table order.

BYOB or BYOW - they'll gladly uncork the bottle and provide Wine glasses on request.

5 stars all across the board!

Ordered here twice within the course of four days. Both times they have forgotten something in the order. I’m not going to bad mouth the actual quality of the food but their service is terrible. Double check anything you order to make sure you aren’t missing something.

You hardly will ever see restaurants receive 5 stars in the restaurant industry but this place forget about it 5 Star! I thought I was in a restaurant in Little Italy on Arthur Ave in the NY Bronx. This restaurant even makes their own fresh mozzarella n bread daily What! I was very fortunate today to meet and talk to Roberto the father of the owner what a wonderful man and we talked Italian food and he explained how they do things the old school Italian way and that’s what you will experience and eat when you visit their restaurant authentic Italian food prepared the old school Italian way and trust me this type of restaurant is very rare and hard to find! PS: they even have peasant food like escarole and beans! Delicious

More than just a local pizzeria. Mom and pop (actually son and pop) atmosphere with fine dining, great service and personal attention from staff. Chef Bobby is top quality. I personally recommend Penne chicken carbonara. Many return customers all year long..... Including myself.

Brazzi is the ABSOLUTE BEST! My friend and I have been coming here every summer for the past decade and it never disappoints! The food is impeccable, ambiance is great, and prices are reasonable. Our favorite dish is the “Lena’s Skinny Chicken” which is an olive oil and garlic based pasta dish that is out of this world! Even though it is no longer on the current menu they always still make it for us when we request it! If you are in the Manahawkin area, definitely check this place out!

**Review: An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Brazzi Wood Fired Trattoria**

On our way back to Long Island from Wildwood, we made a much-anticipated stop at Brazzi Wood Fired Trattoria, a place I'd been eager to visit after following the chef on TikTok for a year and using his incredible recipes. Let me just say, the experience exceeded all expectations.

First, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive and friendly, enhancing our dining experience.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. I've ordered the chef's sauce online several times, but tasting it freshly made on-site was an entirely different experience—rich, flavorful, and truly out of this world. Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the chef's talent and passion for authentic Italian cuisine.

A highlight of our visit was meeting the chef in person. Upon learning that I was a fan from TikTok, he graciously came out to greet us. We had a delightful conversation, and he even gifted me a shirt—a wonderful gesture that added a personal touch to our visit.

If you're ever in the area, a visit to Brazzi Wood Fired Trattoria is a must. It's a culinary experience that should not be missed, and I know I'll be stopping by again whenever I'm on the Garden State Parkway. Highly recommended!
