Called ahead and food was right in time like they said. The pastrami sloppy joe with the homemade slaw is excellent. Also the cheesesteak is on point with sautéed peppers and onions. If you heading to LBI this should be a must stop off.

Nice spot for a cheap meal with good servers and a nice, clean interior. I'm going to give this place another shot and try something more simple next time. The meatball sandwich on ice cold bread was a hard no. Fries are so good, and a generous portion, but a bit overcooked. I'll be back.

Ordered a cheese burger with fried onions and side of onion rings. The burger was terrible it was obviously rushed and was way under cooked raw to be exact. There was 6 pieces of barely fried onions and cheese wasn’t melted and was barely warm. To top it off it was on a sub roll. Onion rings were soaked with oil and one big clump they all broke apart trying to separate them. Why would the cook put this up to be served? Wasn’t even that crowded to be rushed like that. Never again will I give them my hard earned money I’ll go to McDonalds before this place again.

The store has a nice setting. Pretty fair choices for drinks, fresh baked cookies etc. However, for a place specializing in sandwiches, id expect a breakfast sandwich to be better than this. Incredibly bulky roll. I had to tear off a lot of bread to get to the one tiny egg, barely any bacon, no salt, no pepper, no ketchup. Wasnt even asked if I wanted any. Very disappointing sandwich indeed. For anyone in the area, spend the extra time to visit Sad Boyz. You will not be disappointed there. Sorry Mr. Js. I gave you guys a few chances but this breakfast sandwich is super weak.

I honestly dont understand where these good reciewcome from? The food is absolutely ridiculous, Im not a chef ND can do better at home, next time I decide to get a steak egg and cheese bagel Ill make it myself.. save the $12 the charged me.. for a flat burnt steak 1fried egg bagel.. Im very disappointed I posted two reviews. Honestly wish I could post a Pic of what I received..

Mr J’s South is amazing! My husband and I go here weekly and have never been disappointed! John and Colleen are awesome, always super welcoming & friendly. The place is very clean and spotless! Whether we get breakfast or our usuals for lunch, we ALWAYS choose Mr J’s. Must try!

We went there on a Sunday at 10:20 AM . Their hours said 7am to 1pm. The doors were locked an just one guy in there. Why weren't they open? Disappointing😒😒
