Excellent food and wonderful owners. I had a turkey sandwich with Swiss, Russian dressing and coleslaw on rye. It was the best I’ve ever had!! My husband got an omlette and French toast and it was excellent. Really nice owners.

The old blonde lady who works the register that thinks she’s special is rude and acts as if you are bothering her while ordering.No clue why she thinks she is above people as she is nothing special. I am a local and because of her i WILL NOT go there. I would rather get a sizzli from Wawa then to give my $$ to them. They will be closed within a few years anyway with her running the place. I look forward to what will occupy next. I work with 300 people at work and tell everyone to stay away if they are in manahawkin.

mr. j's is outstanding ! the food is delicious...the sloppy joe sandwiches are the best ever. the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and the clean atmosphere is refreshing.if you like chocolate chip cookies you must try the ones made here. our halloween party was catered by mr. j's and everyone raved about the food. the trays were generous and at a very fair price. this is my go-to place for lunch and party food. so glad i found this extraordinary place.

I read the reviews before ordering my lunch. I would have to say disregard the one and two star ratings. The pastrami and corned beef sloppy's are not dry so you don't need a lot of Russian dressing. I ordered an extra one on the side and didn't need it. The coleslaw although not the best I ever has was tasty. The combo of the three were very good and (sloppy) like they advertised. They can do without the middle piece of bread although it probably keeps the sandwich together and it has to be HOTTER. The cheese was warm at best. Overall I was satisfied and will most likely order again in the future. I will ask to eliminate the 3rd piece of bread and get it hotter after all they call it a "Hot" pastrami sloppy Joe. I feel bad giving them 3 stars so I gave them a 4. They are probably a 3 1/2
