The Game Dinner at the Black Forest Inn is a must-experience. If you can’t make it to Germany, this is the next best thing. The food is amazing and expertly prepared. The game dinner itself is an incredible experience—each dish is house-made, authentic, and absolutely delicious.

Food was so medicore. I ordered the tasting menu and everything was cold and obnoxiously small. The bread was so stale I choked on it. I ordered a draft beer, said none of the beers on tap could be served. And then they served me an old rusty beer from the bottom of the cooler that literally had rust on the spout, they knowingly told me it was an old beer. I got the rice pudding for dessert and somehow the rice was crunchy and under cooked. Everything was so strange and weird at this restaurant, I honestly don’t understand the high reviews. I left this place hungry and still managed to spend a lot on the meal. And on top of it they don’t take any sort of gift cards or anything of that nature.

Waited 20 min for a server to show up after I had to say something. Pretty much every time the server disappeared it was another 20 min before they showed up again. What would normally but a 1.5 hr dinner turned into over 2 hrs. Terrible service and mediocre food for the price. Like the atmosphere but will not be back.
Authentic German cuisine.. even the decor brought me back to my childhood visiting Munich.. loved the food - I can’t wait to return.

A great traditional and cozy German restaurant with a fireplace. Delicious authentic food that never disappoints. The veal weinershchitzel was perfectly cooked and covered the entire plate. The bar has a great selection of beer served in beautiful giant glasses. Along with other drinks like gluwein, a great winter drink made authentic and served hot. Even the bar seats are luxurious and comfortable. The servers are attentive and know the details of the food they serve. Cant go wrong here all around great spot 👌
