Fabulous service! I had a pizza and it was delicious! Hubby had prime rib and loved it! Drinks were very good. You should definitely check it out.

This is an old school bar with an atmosphere of history and warmth. The staff were lovely and our food was very good. Do not come here for a 5 star dining experience and complain. Come here if you want good simple food that it served hot and fresh by a server who is friendly. Come here if you want to saddle up to a bar that is adorned with brass memorial tags of those who are remembered to have sat there long before.

I was at the tavern on 12/23. I specifically told the waitress I did not want a meal with meat. She even checked the soup for me but it was on chicken stock. I ordered a tuna club and again requested no meat other than the tuna. She brought it and I took a bite of the club and it had bacon on it. When she came over I said I asked you for no meat and she had nothing to say. They need better help who actually listen to a customer's order.

The absolute BEST soups anywhere in the area! Pizza are delicious and loaded with toppings. I cannot say enough about the prime rib here, just wow!!!Between the beautiful atmosphere, and the amazing food, you cannot go wrong here. There's a reason they've been here for 99 years!

Ate at the bar, had the turkey burger, It was great, lots to choose from on the menu, nice atmosphere, Had a good time.
I had one hour break, and they wasted it all, making me wait for food, and in the end, they brought the wrong order, which tasted horrible.

Enjoyed the chicken Piccata. I chose rice pilaf and was given a very nice salad. I chose balsamic and oil, but my sister told me after, that the raspberry is also very good ? my sister had the lobster bisque and said it was extremely salty.

We wanted prime rib & was told this is the place to go...they weren't kidding! Went early, as we felt later would be crowded & would have to wait. Had a reservation which was good, as we got a call earlier in the day saying their credit card machine was down & to bring cash. Our server was Sharon & she was terrific; made suggestions, kept us informed of the status of our meal & wasn't pushy. We hadn't been there in a long time & won't wait long for another visit to this great restaurant.

A staff of excellent individuals to parlay the trade of food services that explains why people return often and newcomers are happy with the meal and atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my BLT and having asked for cheese on my fries they came out on separate plates. Showing an attitude of professional platings. Cole slaw was tasty as hell which I don't usually consume. A good night!
