The food and atmosphere were top tier! Loved the call buzzer feature and the private booths. This is a great restaurant and a welcome addition to Surf City! P.S. Sorry for posting my half eaten Ramen, it was so good I forgot to take a picture of it fresh.

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating of a mushroom allergy.

Parking: There are about 10 dedicated spots for the restaurant and street parking nearby.

I hate to give three stars, I wish I could give 3.5 or 3.9, by no means do I think this Kyuramen was bad, maybe because I’m from NY and have had some different Kyuramen locations and maybe been lucky to have some different Japanese chains and independent restaurants in NY, that I just thought were better. Let me start with a list.

Service - Very awesome, everyone was nice, the place was empty so they kind of came a bit to ask for our order but it’s fine...

Such delicious food and deep flavors. I especially loved the bao bun. The pork was melt in your mouth tender.

Dietary restrictions: There were no gluten free options included in the menu, so my husband was not able to eat more than the edamame. (He said it tasted great.) We asked about the omelette fried rice, but they will not be selling this option until July.
