I have always loved this place and used to go to the other location off the island whenever I was going to Cherry Hill or Philly. So happy that they opened up the location on surf city it is my go to for the best bagels, great service great deli sandwiches. It is so yummy yummy I’m taking my girlfriend’s there today at 1 o’clock. Yay!!!

Went in for lunch today with friends. Everyone loved their food! I had a delicious cheesesteak, so large I took half home. My friend had a wonderful salad with strawberries, was raving about it. Fried pickles were over the top! Service was friendly and helpful! We will be back!

Had a very enjoyable dinner tonight. 4 adults and 3 kids. Our waitress Madelyn was spot on. Every menu change was honored without question . Service was speedy for all 7 meals. I’m a hoagie lover. The ham & cheese with American and Provolone was the freshest tasting I’ve had. A small item but so important is the very thinly sliced onions along with fresh shredded lettuce and a good ripe tomato. Oil & vin. The twelve inch roll allows me to enjoy the 2nd half tomorrow. Everyone was highly satisfied with the quantity and quality of their meal. The owners are very attentive and personable. They check each table’s satisfaction and needs during your meal as well as visits from our waitress. A very reasonable bill to boot. Surely I’ll be returning to this location.

This is my family’s first week here in LBI. I spent a lot of time here as a kid and now I’m happy I could bring my wife and 3 kids here for a little getaway. I’m a chef so I love exploring the dining scene, but I’m also a dad so my restaurant options have to include places with chicken fingers and plain pasta. We’ve eaten at quite a few spots on the island this week, but my family absolutely loved The Lighthouse! Kids meals at the Lighthouse are $8 folks! We have been getting raked over the coals by some of these spots charging $18.50 for a kids burger, $13 for buttered noodles and $15 for Tyson tenders straight from the freezer. Lighthouse is hand breading their tenders and they are delicious! They have beautiful hot crispy fries and my daughter’s burger was on a soft glossy bun that she described as “thiccc (with 3 c’s)”. My fried shrimp were battered to order and cooked perfectly. Very nice light crispy batter on there, seasoned well. My wife got a turkey hoagie with mozzarella, roasted peppers, and all the fixins’. I was honestly shocked by the size of it. The plate had to weigh like 2 pounds. She loved it and will have it for her next 4 meals lol. My parents both got sandwiches also and were super happy with them. Our server was really nice and attentive. Even got to say hello to the owners who were both there working. They couldn’t have been nicer. Overall we thought it was great. Incredible value for your money which is nearly impossible to find on this island and great food prepared with care. We will be back often!

What a lovely spot. Didn’t have to wait in prime time breakfast time. Went for breakfast and was very impressed! We got the veggie omelet and pork roll egg and cheese sandwich. Sat outside- vibes were so nice. Staff is really kind. Defintely will be back.

Very nice little spot. We got a wide variety of different lunch and dinner dishes including two for very picky children. Everything was great. Nearly everyone had a modification request and they were all handled perfectly. Our server was also amazing! It was quiet, not sure if they are new but hurry by for sure!

I went in for a tray of bagels to bring to a friend's home. The first thing I noticed was the welcoming greeting from the person at the front hostess station. They were warm and welcoming as were the other staff. I brought the delicious, fresh bagels and spreads to my friend's home where everyone enjoyed them. There was a variety of bagels and each of them were full of flavor. I look forward to my return visit to enjoy these delicious bagels!
