The website said that the store was open until 10:00 pm. We drove 10 miles just to have an ice cream only to find out that they were closed at 8:45! Disappointing!

Really cute LBI ice cream shop with so many flavors and also froyo. $7 for a single scoop but you truly get a pint’s worth of ice cream. The death by chocolate was divine!! No samples because it’s such a busy shop - but every ice cream flavor my group had was so good!

Big Dipper is exactly what an ice cream spot should be…great flavors, generous portions, and fair prices. I saw some reviews complaining that they give too much ice cream, which honestly feels insane in today’s world where everything is getting more expensive. For around seven dollars, you get a massive cone that’s absolutely worth it. In my opinion, there’s no such thing as too much ice cream. They offer a wide variety of flavors, both soft and hard, and they do let you sample if it’s not too crowded. The ice cream itself is excellent, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

It’s hard to mess up ice cream. But when you refuse to give tastes, and your smallest size - even for kids - is big enough for a large adult, you’re getting away from a focus on what the customer wants. Especially for these prices. The soft serve was fine.

Terrible experience never going back! 🤬🤬employees were getting snappy with me! Huge line for terrible ice scram. By the time it took the employees to ring me up my ice cream was dripping on the floor. Ice scream tasted more like gelato than ice scream.

Do not order a cone they totally rip u off, my friend ordered a cone and he got literally nothing whereas I got a cup and I got a lot of ice cream. And the employees are really rude they get mad if u dont tip
