Food was okay but way too expensive for the quality. But besides that, when I checked my credit card statement a few weeks later, I was alarmed to see that I was overcharged by over $200. When I attempted to contact the restaurant (4-5 times), I got no response. We figured out that on the $122 bill with a 20% tip ($24.40), the server entered $244. If you decide to eat here, keep your receipts and check your credit card statements because a waiter leaving at the end of his shift with an extra $244 should've noticed. And so should the manager.

Food was good. However our waiter,Gabriel, was a huge downer. We had a girls weekend and he was actually rude and killed the vibe. Likely won’t return even tho food was good and is

Tried this place on a whim for adult night out...did not disappoint in the slightest! Amazing service the staff is on point! Had the beet salad, calamari, and tomato special to start and was to die for. The pizza, halibut, tuna and scallop special all were perfectly prepared and delicious! Thank you

We have been coming to LBI since the 90s. We just ate here for the first time today. From the time we entered to the time we left the service was amazing. The decor is simple but elegant. The signature fried tomato was interesting and delicious and the rare tuna was the best I have had. This place is a gem.

Made a wait list reservation for the evening. Responded in 4 minutes to the email text about an opening and 40 mins later told I lost the spot because more than one person handled reservations. Instead drove to Buckalews for a marvelous dinner! We now have our favorites!!

Great wait staff. Extremely attentive.
Pretty room, though a bit tight.
Tasty food
However, extremely over priced. Yikes!

Dinner for two was over $250 with no alcohol. Steak special was $90; shrimp dish was $60. Completely overpriced; rushed by waiter thru the meal. Will never go back.

Have dined here numerous times over the past 10 years. Prices have skyrocketed and menu has become limited. Appetizers are geared to selling pricey items. Entrees have become limited and not even a bread or cracker for the table. We arrived for our reservation promptly but were told we had to wait as our table had patrons who had not paid their check. We were seated 25 minutes late, we were fine with that. Clearly the servers were told to try to rush us. Waiters didn’t give us much time to review menu speed talked through the specials and we asked to have more time to think our choices over. We did order received our meals and after we were done and the check arrived the waiter had the nerve to ask us to hurry up and pay another party was waiting for the table. When we complained how rude this was for a $300 meal for 4 the hostess said it was the waiter who shouldn’t have done that. The waiter came over to apologize and told us the hostess told him to hurry us up. If you want to eat in a noisy rushed place that pretends to be NY on LBI go for it. Clearly they are cutting back and in need of better profits with the extremely high prices and limited service and help. They lost a repeat customer.

The food was very well prepared and tasty. Way over priced . $60 for an average size piece of halibut over a bit of spinach. Duck was enjoyed by others I was with and at a better price point (still high $48) Menu is always the same. Nothing particularly special, but all good. Service was good. I would suggest this place if the price doesn't matter or it's a very special occasion and you need a more upscale place. Otherwise, save your money. Eat with regular folks (e.g. not the Love Ladies crowd) and save your money for a really special meal that matches the price.

As always the food was delicious but that’s why I’m so disappointed with my meal! The special offered was 4 blackened scallops with a corn and lobster succotash with asparagus and artichoke. Both my husband and I ordered and received only 3 scallops. I personally had one 1” piece of asparagus and not even one piece of artichoke. Nobody asked how our meal was because it clearly was lacking ingredients. It was so delicious but I left hungry! And the cost per entree was over $60 each. Come on! Don’t say it’s 4 scallops and serve only 3! It will be a long time if ever that I return. We were basically ripped off. Not cool!!!!

My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years now. Yellowfin has always been consistent between the service and their unique dishes. The staff and their ambiance has always drawn us back every Summer. Highly recommend!
