As somebody being from Morris county I don't know much about Sussex. I do know that if you happen to be in the area you MUST stop at this restaurant. The food was absolutely perfect. Not expensive at all. I would even say this restaurant is the best in the whole damn county!
Stopped by with a few friends and we all had one of the best dinners in a long time. The great part about it was we all wanted to pay the bill because the food was so fresh and amazing but our friends twisted our arms and they paid lol. We have the next one.
My husband and I went for an early dinner last night. I haven't been there in years. It's historic and old. Dinning area dark and old and cluttered. Didn't look too clean. Staff was friendly. I ordered a grey goose and cranberry. Was good. Had a second. Steamers were so gritty I thought I broke a tooth. Meal came quickly. My salmon was very good. My husbands steak panini was good with home made fries. Got blooming onion that was deep fried onion pieces. Not light...
