The Farm at Glenwood Mountain

My wife and I got married at the Farm nearly two years ago to the day, and we decided to return for an anniversary dinner date. This was our first time booking a dinner at the Farm, and as expected, we were blown away. Steve’s use of same-day harvested ingredients was nothing short of perfection. Every dish was beautifully presented—elegant, colorful, and enhanced by the stunning landscape that serves as the backdrop for the dining experience. The four-course meal was flavorful, thoughtfully portioned, and absolutely delicious. My favorite dish was the Stuffed Patty Pan Squash, perfectly complemented by the sweet corn purée and pine nuts. Steve is truly a master of his craft.

I’d also like to recognize Candice, who is exceptionally attentive and welcoming. She immediately greeted us as if our wedding had been just last week, taking time out of her busy evening to chat and catch up. That level of care transformed the evening from simply a dining experience into something that felt more like family. The rest of the staff were equally warm, quick, and polite.

Overall, if you’re looking for an immersive, intimate, and unforgettable meal, look no further than the Farm. It’s truly one of the most unique dining experiences you’ll find in NJ!

It feels like stepping into an oil painting—marvelous views, animals grazing, the lush greenery of nature, and a garden filled with fresh products ready to be cooked. It is the perfect place to escape the stressful, noisy life of the city and enjoy a special moment with your partner or family.
But the food? Ummm… it left much to be desired. Despite having excellent-quality products literally at hand, the dishes were uninspired, hidden behind mediocre presentation, or overwhelmed by poor execution, standing out mainly for their lack of flavor.
I recommend this place for its countryside charm and natural beauty, but absolutely not for the food. I’m not exaggerating when I say that a canned peach from the supermarket would have had more flavor than the dessert I tried. And I still don’t understand why they felt the need to fry the basil—it added nothing but a ridiculous look and a completely flat taste to the dish

We got married here and it was so magical. Highland cows were the highlight but amazing food and even better service. Candice and Steve are just such good people.

If you’re looking for an incredible farm to table experience this is the spot! Food is out of this world and prepared beautifully. This is the only place I buy my meat and eggs, very fresh and great quality. The market also has gifts and goodies as well as breads and seasonal produce.

I made reservations for my fiancés birthday, and this place was phenomenal.
The food was delicious and at the end dessert had a “happy birthday sign”, the perfect ending to the night!
You can hang with friends and family afterwards by the fire. They also have a shop where you can buy farm items and food.
We purchased farm fresh eggs along with a highland cow stuffed animal for our granddaughter, so cute!!
The owner Steve is so down to earth and after every course he would come out and announce what ingredients were in the foods you ate.
Staff had great customer service and very attentive!

The Farm at Glenwood Mountain created our ideal farm wedding. Steve and Candice were so accommodating and easy to work with, and we were so inspired by their family-run, working farm. It felt really special to have all of the food and flowers for our wedding come from the farm - a true farm-to-table experience. Everything was beautiful, delicious, and seamless.

Candice and Steve (and the whole team) are awesome! We had our wedding at the farm and they were extremely accommodating and easy to work with to help make our day even better than we possibly could have imagined. The food has been the talk of the family and we all have plans to go back for supper club; they were even able to accommodate multiple allergies and dietary restrictions. The florals were exceptional and she totally understood my vision and implemented it perfectly. The bridal suite was so convenient for us being right on the property. I had a joy working with the team and we wish the night never ended since they made it so easy smooth and stress-free!! Thank you for making our wedding the best day ever!!!

We lucked out with The Farm after a few failed attempts DIY-ing our intimate wedding at rented houses and thank goodness we did. Working with The Farm made wedding planning way easier I wish we could have done it this way from the beginning. The location was perfect - we wanted to be around nature and with The Farm, we had the option to hold the ceremony outdoors or indoors (in the event of rain). This took away the stress of having to plan for a rain contingency. Working with them is also 100% seamless - they are PROS. The last thing you want in planning a wedding is working with a team that overpromises and under delivers; and we've had our fair share of experience from trying to DIY. The team is very responsive, as we found the location just a few months away from a wedding we already had booked vendors for. They literally saved our wedding from disaster. On top of that, the food was excellent. The moment we came to visit and had a tasting, we knew we found the one. The chef had us taste the freshest charcuterie selection, we thought the meats were so fresh they were just butchered from around the corner. 10/10 would recommend.

PS: Save your venue AND your entourage so much trouble by hiring a wedding coordinator. I wish I had known better!

Went for a beautiful farm to table meal. The menu was absolutely amazing. the ambiance was exceptional, the staff was inviting, and the food was impeccable. Warm and comfortable evening in the barn for an early Thanksgiving themed dinner. Started with a warm apple cider from their apple harvest at the farm. Followed by the most elegant little stuffed potato....then we had a winter salad that was out of this world with roasted beets and an urged Buttermilk Dressing OMG..very bright Salad with the harvested beets of the season were the perfect bite to the salad. The consommè of Turkey was next. If you could only smell the soup, the amount of turkey flavor that had stewed in this broth was absolutely amazing. The smell with the taste and then breaking down the turkey confit into the broth......again ? ?. The main course was a Turkey Ballotine, which was tender and flavorful, just enough to keep you wanting more, yet full. The dessert to follow, was a cranberry curd tart. This was suddle but tart with a Vanille Bean Crème Chantilly sweetness added to it. The chef was absolutely ? ? ?, he came out for each meal and explained them. All the food was raised and grown on the premises. The night was extraordinary and I cannot wait to go back. This should be a staple night for each season and the transition of seasons. Hands down to The Farm @ Glenwood Mountain, we can't wait to come back. If we ever do have a wedding, I want it to be here, I have heard that this is a fantastic place to host events. I was there for a wedding and the venue is very well done. Just about everything at the wedding came from the farm. There was a chill in the air, but the patio had heaters and the barn was comfortably heated. Rustic look but had the amenities guest would like. The men's restroom was in a a trailer outside the barn, but if the location of the men's restroom is the only negative, it's a great space.

This place is amazing. We go to the shop pretty often but ate dinner here last week and it was 10/10. Great experience, food and staff!
