I ordered a Greek salad and a BBQ cheddar bacon burger for delivery. The salad was terrific, they even put the pita bread in a separate container so it didn’t get soggy. However, I ordered mashed potatoes as a side for the burger and I received French fries. I also ordered it to be cooked medium well, and it was more like medium RARE. I’ve been dining at the Green Olive since the original owners opened it, and I know the owner, TJ, very well. Since he owned Woodys Liquors actually. And I also know the fabulous chef, Dennis. But this is just insane. The burger wasn’t edible for me and the restaurant phone just kept ringing with no answer. Very upsetting to say the least.
Parking: Small lot up front but plenty of space down back for the sports bar.

Me and my wife went for our 30th anniversary dinner at this little rest known as the “Green olive”, as we walked in, the front looked horrendous. Then, we sat down, ordered the filet mignon entrees, and when we did, we recieved a baked potato with dirt left on it, the steak was dry and bland, and the vegetables were obviously frozen. For the price you pay, this food is terrible . Would not recommend.

Thanks giving dinner I wanted to substitute the cranberries witch where a small little plastic cup for mashed potatoes and I was told when we were a table of 8. And what there mashed potatoes serving is a ice cream scoper. What a joke.

Ordered food for takeout. Was in the parking lot when I got the text message that food was ready. Picked up the order and drove 5 minutes home. Food was cold and soggy by the time I got home. Had to heat it up in the oven which defeats the purpose of picking up takeout for a night off of cooking.

Carrie, a woman claiming to be the chef at The Green Olive in Wantage, admits in a YouTube DUI video that she has been very sick with a diagnosed viral infection and yet she cooks there, 12 hours daily, without a mask. Way to ruin your restaurant Carrie.

This place is a hidden gem. Well, not that hidden since it's right on State Route 23, but in a relatively remote area. The food is exquisitely prepared by their chef. The portions we big, and delicious, with good presentation. The waitress I had (Patricia) was a dear gem. The dining room is beautiful, though you also have the option to sit in the upstairs of downstairs bars, or outside on their deck/patio. This was my first visit, but will certainly not be my last! Highly recommended!
