9pm Tuesday Jan 6 steak is overcooked taste completely burnt I ordered it medium rare. The broccoli 🥦 isn’t even cooked it’s not even edible . The cook obviously doesn’t know what he/she is doing 🗑️

Get service per usual. The manager went Above and Beyond to make things right after my meal was not correct. I definitely appreciate that. Another 5 star 🌟 experience as usual. Keep up the great work. Will Definitely be back.

Wear a warm wrap. It can be a but chilly at the booths near the windows. And they do not have broccoli.

First time ordering Applebees in a very long time, live locally so wanted to try it out again. Ordered curb side- we had specific time for pick up however after arriving waited 10 additional mins after p/u time. Sadly food was cold, no cutlery given. We actually were going to eat in car but couldn’t bc some of food required utensils like the soup for instance and the food needed to be reheated so we just brought it home later after we finished errands. Kinda disappointing. We ordered the 2/$25 - boneless hot honey chicken wings, grilled cheese cheeseburger, whisky burger.

Passing through town we decided to stop and grab some food. Mallory our waitress was amazing! Even the manager Dustin was great he delivered our appetizers.

One Star – Absolutely Disrespectful to Customers

Applebee’s is pretty standard wherever you go. The food is nothing to write home about, but you know what you’re getting—basic eats, decent prices, and a place to catch a game. But what happened at the Swedesboro Applebee’s was so off-the-rails disrespectful that I’ll never set foot in there again.

Let me set the scene: The Phillies are up by four runs in the seventh inning against Colorado. A solid game, good crowd, everyone in the entire restaurant—not just the bar—was watching and enjoying it. Without warning, the bartender walks over, grabs the remote, and changes the channel on the biggest TV in the place. But he doesn’t stop there—he also cuts off the surround sound, switching the audio over to some random basketball game.

Why? Not because anyone asked. Not because it was a major event. He just likes basketball more than baseball. And when multiple customers clearly showed they were upset, he stared everyone down like we were the ones out of line.

Within ten minutes, every single customer in that building got up and left. All of us. And the bartender didn’t seem to care one bit.

This wasn’t a mistake. This was someone deciding their personal preferences mattered more than every paying customer in the building. And in South Jersey, you don’t cut off the Phillies mid-game and expect people to stay. I don’t go to restaurants that show basketball games over baseball. I definitely don’t go to ones that force it on you.

Swedesboro Applebee’s—do better. Or don’t. I’m never going back either way.

This is our absolute favorite out of all the Applebee’s. We come here a couple of times a week. The food is always consistently good and the wait staff is amazing!

Apple Bee's, in general, used to be a favorite of ours. From Happy Hour to Munchies. But over the years, unfortunately, it's just lost something along the way. We popped in on a Monday afternoon around 1pm. The 15 minutes we waited to be seated was absolutely ridiculous 1st off. Unfortunately, the rest of the visit was not much better. The appetizer was the best part. It's also not just happening at this location. There are a couple others we'd frequent on our trips out. We weren't scared off this time...persay. But will not go out of my way next time.
