All i can say is WOW! If your looking for a new, exciting taste experience...go here! The food hi end but prices are reasonable. They are small plates and i was satisfied with only 2. I had a deliciuos hanger steak with a great chimichurri and then some ki nd of turkish bread that looked like a big donut with handles. In the center were 4 different cheeses melted together with a sunny side egg on top. All finished off with a delicious hot honey dip. My wife had a scrumptious squash risotto that was a very generous serving. They also have a very exotic collection of fraft beers.

Had dinner tonight with some great friends and can’t say enough good things about the service, atmosphere and of course the food. We ordered a bunch of delicious plates all shareable with amazing flavors. Heather was on top of everything. Definitely will be back. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.

By far the best restaurant in the area, the menu offers an amazing variety of delicious options for every palette, many of which are vegan/gluten free for those with dietary restrictions. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the bar offers an excellent variety of top shelf liquor and well crafted cocktails. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, perfect for date night or dinner with friends/family. Heather is our favorite server, she's always on top of her game and lots of fun.

Food is excellent. We loved the butternut salad, eggplant chips and hanger steak. A real surprise was the Kachapuri - that was delicious. I would make the 45 minute trip by myself just for that and the salad!! I am still thinking about it. My guest and I love the cocktails and we stuck with the Joe Cat for our cocktail of the afternoon. Andrew makes the best cocktails!! I love the vibe at BLK SHP. The music is kind of spacy and in the background which creates a great vibe. The space is beautiful. Service is excellent. Ally was our server and she was flawless!

Seemed to have a nice variety of Gluten Free items on the menu which is nice since I have Celiac. I ordered the Blk Shp chips which are labelled gluten free. When I started having a reaction I called the restaurant to ask what they were coated with. The woman on the phone verified with the kitchen and responded with ‘flour’ I specified regular flour and she confirmed. I informed her I was having a reaction and they should not have this label on the item if it isn’t gluten free, to which she responded ‘thanks for the feedback’ and hung up on me. No sorry, no nothing. This is EXTREMELY dangerous as someone with an allergy could potentially die from consuming this. Very upset with how the menu is deceiving, and the lack of care from the staff. I will never go to this restaurant again and will be warning everyone I know about it because I know people and children in the Swedesboro area that are allergic.

We love the black sheep. They have a huge selection of beer, wine, and bourbon/scotch/whiskey. Four of us ate: the street steak, apple walnut salad, baked jalapeños, scallop ceviche, lamb skewers, something else and then bread pudding for dessert. We were stuffed and so happy. The portions are just right/big enough to share between four people. I don’t believe anything on the menu was $20. With seven drinks and seven food plates, I think we spent maybe $200.
