Our experience at BLK SHP was amazing as always. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was incredible. Heather, our server, was the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant. She was fun, polite, and attentive to all our needs. She even got me the tiny spoon I requested for dessert. ❤️❤️

First time eating brunch there. Atmosphere was great! Sadly our food was not. Wait time was 45 mins after being seated. Both orders were incorrect, Food was undercooked. When brought to attention of waiter he offered free dessert. He brought us the menu and told us to choose. After choosing we waited 20 more minutes for him to return and say the manager was giving him a hard time and we could no longer have the dessert! They offered it free, we didn't ask and it was due to the poor service, incorrect order and undercooked food. The manager should have came to speak with us to begin with for the discrepancy but didn't. Food was terrible, manager unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend,

This restaurant was recommended by our son and what an outstanding experience. Although listed as a tapas menu, the portions were filling and reasonable in price. The service was excellent and we were not rushed in our meal like some restaurants. In addition we were greeted by the owner as she circulated with her patrons, making sure they were enjoying themselves. Definitely will return here

The sweet and spicy ribs were delicious and fall off the bone amazing! The staff was amazing and the pineapple cosmopolitan omg chefs kiss! Now the place shares the same building with Red Hen so there is a little confusion but ask them when you go in

2nd time at Blk_Shp, only because it's a drive from my house, otherwise I'd be there more often. My BFF is Vegan so we always order Vegan for her and I order vegetarian for me. Don't be fooled by the term "tapas" at Blk_Shp. You will get so much food you'll leave with togo containers and if you order like we do, meals for the next 4 days! They recently changed their menu but all our favorites, and now some new favorites are there. For the amount of food you get and the low prices, you definitely get a steal!
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting.
The service is always spot on.
We LOVE Blk_Shp and will be back.
Blk_Shp is a gem in Swedesboro, I highly suggest you check it out.

We ate here for the first time recently and fell in love! We ordered the truffle fries, the caramelized onion, apple and brie flatbread to start and they were amazing. I highly recommend these. Also, the Caesar salad and piri piri shrimp were crazy good! Great cocktail and beer selections as well. Our server Maddie (spelling?) Was super sweet and great. Can't wait to go back.
