It was my first time going the day before Mother’s Day. It was definitely beautiful. Atmosphere was amazing, coffee was amazing. They have the cutest little decorations. I definitely took advantage and took pictures with my mother next to the pink phone booth. Super cute if you just want to grab some coffee and a snack. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Hens & Honey Shoppe for Swedesboro, our 136th town.
We had seen this place pop up on our social media feeds, and couldn't wait to try it when we came to town. (Check out their Instagram for great coffee pics and the funny Reels the crew makes.) Valerie & the H&H team exceeded expectations! First off, the shop itself is a work of art with lots of insta-photo-friendly decor.
The iced coffee flight is a must. It's what we came for. We got to try the Fall Special line up (Jack O, Pecan Lane, Flannel Jacket, and Harvest Moon).
It's not just a coffee shop though. The gourmet toasts they offer make for some of the most unique & delicious breakfast or brunch options I've seen. We tried the Smoked Salmon and Bourbon Sweet Honey toasts. WOW! Each of these were a party in our mouths. If we lived close enough, we'd come back more often to try all the toasts out!
The place gets busy, so you might have a wait, but it's WELL worth it.
Disclaimer: I'm writing this review almost a year after we first visited, and the shop has expanded to a larger space in the same plaza that looks just as cool. Can't wait to swing by again between visits to other towns our next time in Gloucester county! (As of Oct 2024, 243 Jersey towns visited, 321 to go!)

My favorite coffee shop by far! Not only do they serve the best coffee ive ever had, they also serve delicious food. Some of the menu items change with the season like the pumpkin waffles in the picture. So good? Upfront theres a boutique filled with the cutest things & best gift options which has saved me on several occasions. Everyone is so friendly & welcoming. I love the girl at the register she also gives me the best drink suggestions when I feel like trying something different from my usual. Please open 7 days a week?

Today was my first time at Hens & Honey. I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while. I went out for breakfast with my daughter. I felt cheated on my experience. I ordered a flight and me and my daughter were giving the cashier the flavors we wanted to try. She then asks if we want a full cup and shows me a plastic cup. I asked do you have any other sizes and she said no. I didn’t know we were going to get four cups to go. She knows we were eating there. I think she should have explained that there are the glass cups on the wood board or to go cups. I did order the flight lattes. Other than that I enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
My absolute favorite coffee shop in the tristate area. They always have new drink and food options and the girls are great.

It’s always amazing here. Such a great atmosphere, from the decorations, to the staff, to the coffee! Love how it changes per season so it always gives you a wanting to come back for more. I will be coming back more often.

Every customer is unique, and their opinions are valuable. By listening actively and responding respectfully, you can build stronger relationships and improve your customer service skills. **I've never been handed a gallon of milk in any restaurant that I've been to maybe you could change that **
