I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately I will never be back again due to my experience today. We came around 11:20am and the woman seemed to be angry either that she had to be at work or that we were arriving at her job unfortunately. But that’s ok, my husband and I both work very hard and long hours and know how to deal with people. When we walked in, the woman with an attitude said what’s your order, my husband defaulted to hello how are you, “-good, what do you want” I wondered if us being there to spend money at her place of work was an inconvenience for her. I asked when they closed and she said 1pm, it was 11:20 so it would seem that wasn’t the issue. I asked if they had any egg bagels and she said no this is what we have and pointed to the display. I said you know what I’m not hungry and left with my husband to go to village bagels and spend $20 on 2 bagels instead. I suggest anyone else who isn’t ordering takeout or enjoys being spoken to in a disgusting matter do the same.

I've been coming here since they first opened about 13yrs ago. I'm a true New Yorker so you know how hard it's to find great bagels down here. They have the most amazing staff who treats you like you're family and will even joke around with you. Especially the weekday workers. For the past couple years, all the cream cheese's and store made salads have become more flavorful. There's one guy who makes the most perfect New York style sandwiches. Their cookies are amazing and the fresh squeezed orange juice is to die for. I'm never disappointed in the products I receive.
The only downfall recently is that they are no longer doing the Old Town dozen that all thier customers come for. I've personally heard the new owner getting upset when someone wants more than 12 bagels. He tells people we aren't allowed to buy more than a certain amount of one flavor bagel. He's also raised prices multiple times in the past year or so. Almost everything is now more than double the price it was when Matt, Terry, and Maria ran it. No wonder why they no longer have a line to the door on the weekends anymore. If it wasn't for the current staff, all the regular customers who keep this place open would go to thier competitors. He needs to wake up before he ends up losing more customers. The restaurant industry is not a get rich quick scheme.

Too expensive for what you get. Staff could be friendlier. We try to support local business, but this place isn’t worth it.

Pork roll egg and cheese on a salt bagel was delicious! The fresh squeezed OJ was also totally worth it. Can’t wait to go back!

By far the best bagels in the area. Food is very good. Im a huge fan of their sandwiches and macaroni salad. The employees are all very nice. The only criticism is that that occasionally run out of bagels way too quickly- but that goes to show how good they are.

I ordered a everything bagel with egg white cheese and porkroll. And since the sandwhich is more than 9$ I'd hope the order would be right and it was even written correctly but they gave me a plain bagel. Not happy as my whole reasoning for going here is I love their everything bagels. They were super friendly and nice but I mean you gotta get someone's order right ??♀️ that's number one for me.

Really, really close to the New York City bagels, I am used to. The toppings and fillings are generous. The people who work there are always very nice.
I'm so happy to have found a great little bagel shop in the area. The bagels, cookies, and coffee never disappoint! The staff are always super friendly, which is hard to find these days. Run to Old Town Bagel, you wont regret it!
