I have been waiting to try this please since it opened. Walking in the place was nice the staff were great. The food on the other hand was not sooo good. We ordered steak and fettuccine Alfredo. The steak was 50% fat and not hot at all. Warm at best. The flavor was good but would have been so much better if not was hot. The fettuccine Alfredo the sauce was really good but chicken was really dry. If the sauce wasn’t so good we wouldn’t have finished it. I guess it was just a let down getting a steak at a “steak” place that I’ve had better at a longhorns or chain restaurant. It’s a really nice place to eat the staff are really good we just didn’t have the best experience with the food.

Had a great meal at Steak 38 tonight. We’ve been there several times. Had one not so great experience about a year ago, but tonight redeemed itself. The service was excellent. The food was as well. I had the Chilean sea bass special and my husband had a strip steak with an espresso rub. It was cooked perfectly. It was also our anniversary and the extra touch of complimentary champagne was so nice. Thank you for a wonderful meal/evening.

We visit Steak 38 a few times per year and the steaks are normally fantastic. This particular visit however, the filet I ordered was a little dry and lacked flavor. The service from the bar tender was a different story. Normally when folks lay their menus down, it’s an indication they are ready to order. The bartender kept walking by for several minutes, we finally had to flag him down to place our order. While we were waiting for our food my wife ordered another beer, he slammed the bottle on the bar hard enough for it to start flowing out of the top (he did the same thing three weeks ago without the volcano action). Once our food arrived my wife received the wrong order and they had to take it back. The manager stopped by: he was very nice and apologetic by offering compensation, we declined, not looking for anything free. I’d rather go to the Village pub, steaks are good and the bartenders get it done!

Steak 38 has consistently delivered a delightful dining experience, making it a reliable favorite for any occasion. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable meal.
The steaks, of course, are the stars of the show. Cooked to perfection, they are tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the meat is evident, and the chefs clearly know how to bring out the best in each cut. Beyond the steaks, the menu offers a variety of delicious sides and appetizers, ensuring there's something for everyone.
What truly elevates Steak 38 is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making you feel welcome and well-cared for. They are happy to offer recommendations and ensure your dining experience is nothing short of excellent.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a fantastic steak dinner, Steak 38 is a wonderful choice. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience.

I mean it’s not horrible. It’s better then out back steak house… and that’s about it. They don’t use seasoning on the steak. I don’t really do reviews but if you’re going to be paying that much for dinner I would recommend “the block” or that one steak house in Borden town. Those places make you feel welcome and don’t rush you out the door.

Valet is not optional if you can't walk far, they suggested we park across the street at CVS if we didn't want to valet. Restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated for our reservations. We were seated in a room with a large birthday party, we felt like we were intruding. Music was loud, the large party was extremely noisy. We ordered steak, grilled chicken, and chicken parm. The steak was ordered medium, some pink in the center, it arrived well done. The grilled chicken was dry and flavorless. The chicken parm was burned all around the edges and dry. The fettuccine sauce was odd, and had a tad too much garlic. The chicken parm and accompanying fettuccine were lacking in sauce, adding to the dryness of the burned chicken. The mashed potatoes were very bland, cold and off-putting. The green beans had no flavor and were not cooked but somehow rubbery. The French onion soup looked delicious, however it was bland and a tad colder than room temperature. The gentleman who refills drinks was amazing, we had refills immediately. The tiramisu is dry but tasty. Strange that they served it with blueberries. We would compare the food to that of a Chili's, but 5x as expensive. Not worth the money, we left very sad that we spent $200. Next time, we'll stick with the Chop House.

My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. We had oysters rockafeller and clams casino for appetizers. They were acceptable...not the best we ever had. We ordered the Sreak 38 Entree for 2, which was one of the specials that evening. It was stellar!! It was a whole tableside experience. It started with ceasar salad. Then on to Chateaubriand and bananas foster for dessert. I don't have enough room to tell you how delicious it was! Aubrey, our waitress was very attentive to all of our needs as was the entire staff. We were even given a complementary glass of champagne to celebrate. The only negative I can offer is the parking situation. The lot is very small, although they do offer free valet service. We'll definitely be back again.

Went to dinner with my family last night and had a great experience. Food came out hot and delicious. My server, Michelle, was very attentive and had great knowledge on the menu. Coming from the restaurant industry myself, she really gave exceptional service. I’ll defiantly be requesting her next time I’m in.
